With the recent hail storm, our roof, siding, and gutters were completely destroyed. With that, our roof was also leaking on the inside of our house. We immediately called Crown Exterior and they showed up the the next afternoon. From that meeting, our roof was replaced within a week. Our siding and gutters are being completed next. With each person we have dealt with, they have been nothing short of exemplary customer service as well. Extremely happy with our choice in contractors.

Not very good. Have had several leaks since the job was completed. The last email I sent I did not get a response. Roof is still leaking. Also, didn’t seal a pcp pipe on the roof and leaking in my bathroom from the ceiling. First sales person I worked with wasn’t helpful. I would not use this company. Gave this place a check 20k for a leaky roof.

Excellent communication from the start. Roofers were on-time, very knowledgeable and great at explaining things. Job was done well and they were very professional. Would definitely hire again!

The roof was replaced as expected. The subcontractor that they hired to replace our gutters did a poor job of installation. The gutters looked terrible until we complained to the company. The subcontractor eventually came back and corrected the problems. During the installation, our lawn statue of the Virgin Mary was broken. The sales person said the company would reimburse us for replacing the statue. The company never reimbursed us but the sales person did eventually.

Very well, no complaints about their service. Understanding how insurance pays for work remains vague but that is the insurance company practices and not Crown.

Owner Kirk James was a pleasure to deal with. He made sure my new roof was exactly what I wanted by following up with me right after the new roof was on. His company was able to replace a roof on a 2,400 sq/ft house in about 5 hours. Very impressive They did a great job too. It's rare that I have absolutely zero complaints about a company, but Crown Exteriors was truly a 10/10 experience.

A couple days later, Jeff met me at the house to repair the flashing and caulk. I haven't had any problems with leaking since the repair. Jeff also showed me some damage to the top bricks and concrete capping the fireplace. He recommended I have a brick company do some repairs. I was very happy with the honesty of this company, They didn't try to sell me something I didn't need or make me try to file an insurance claim for a small repair. They may not have made a lot off this repair, but they have a customer for life.

The owner was prompt and stayed in great contact. The worker that fixed our house was so nice and his craftsmanship was amazing. I almost hope we get more exterior storm damage so that I can call Crown exteriors again and have them work on our house again. It was amazing work. Done promptly. My expectations were exceeded on every level.

I called and they found time to come the next day. Kirk showed up when he said he would. (I can't tell you how many times a contractor has shown up late or not at all). Kirk examined the roof saw hail damage, contacted the insurance agency, followed up after the adjuster didn’t call back in a week, and met the adjuster in person to show him the affected areas. This is the service your typical roofing contractor doesn’t do. That is why if it is time for a new roof I recommend you call them.

They say to us that they were going to have their own crews on our roof but I believe they had sub contractors. They did fine work but I had known upfront. The price was fair and quality was good. I know roofers who do cheaper but I don't know if the quality was as good. Our gutters take a pretty long time to get in and get put up it took a couple months after roof that gutters were put up. There were a lot of storms with hail damage that kept roofers busy.

DON"T USE CROWN EXTERIORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This company uses BULLYING and SCAMMING tactics to make their money!!! I trusted them to do work caused by hail damage. I wanted the work done in stages and they agreed. However, they decided on their own to complete work I had not authorized and then demanded payment. Jim repeatedly lied to me thorughout the process. When they starting bullying me, Jim would no longer return my calls. DON"T USE CROWN EXTERIORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While we were originally very happy with Crown, the poor workmanship and their unwillingness to stand behind their work soon became apparent. They provided a reasonable quote, worked with our insurance company/adjustor (which should be no surprise, as this is how they get paid), completed the roof in about 8 hours, and had a project manager on site the entire time. Then right around the 2 year mark (and of course they only gave us a 2 year warranty on the installation), our roof began leaking. This leak was a known issue that we had explicitly addressed with them when they were installing the roof, and they assured us that they would take all the necessary extra steps to fully waterproof that area. It worked until we had a heavy rain 2 years later. We called them, and the project manager (a different one this time) pointed out several problems, including excessive and unnecessary caulking in a large area that was actually making water back up, and some siding that they had cracked and never replaced-promised to repair these issues and replace all damaged siding. After 2 weeks of daily no-shows, the guy finally showed up and spent half a day 'fixing' it. Told us he put in some ice and water barrier and higher flashing (which surprised me, as this was supposed to have been done on the original install), did not replace the damaged siding-told me he took his knife and tried to scrape away the excessive caulk, then used some more caulk to 'seal' the cracked piece. 2 months later, leaking again, in the same spot. We left 3 messages-all went unreturned. We have now had to hire a different exteriors company to fix what Crown could not, not to mention the additional cost of fixing our interior drywall which has now been damaged AGAIN(see attached photos). Have also found simple, lazy errors such as no felt underlay beneath the shingles of our 'brand new' roof. So if you want a company who will do a quick job and will get the money from your insurance company, these are your guys, but if you expect your roof to last for more than a couple of years, look elsewhere.

Our new roof installations could not have gone better from the bidding process until the end of the project. There were always 2 Field Operations Managers onsite from the beginning to the end of each day. Communication was always available and professional. It was a very well-coordinated major event. Our residents have been most complimentary. Crown Exteriors performed all the work within 7 workdays. Remarkable! Our residents experienced minor inconvenience for a very limited time. Any building started was completed the same day. At the end of each workday, the property was left in the same condition as it started. Spotless. Including the obvious need for overnight parking, each resident was back to their normal life within 36 hours. This was a very large job. The cost was well into the hundreds of thousands of dollars and they were highly competitive with their pricing. Anytime you take on a project this size there are going to be mishaps. Those that took place were very minor and most importantly, most were remedied that same day or within 24 hours. While those requiring outside services were trivial and few in number, they were completed within 2 weeks. Crown Exteriors always did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. As someone who was heavily involved from beginning to end, I highly recommend Crown Exteriors. They must be considered for any size project.

They did a great job: tore off the old roof and put on the new, architectural shingles in one day for each of the buildings. They tore out and replaced any rotted wood. They put tarps down on all exterior surfaces in clouding decks and flower beds. They cleaned up afterward, walking around and hand picking pieces of construction material and old roof. They even swept drives and other areas with magnetic wand to pick up stray nails. Project managers were on site and inspected the work as they went. I have had another roof replacement, on a previous house, in the last five years which I was very happy with but this job was exceptional.

Roof looks great and was completed expediently. Kirk the owner will do everything he can to insure the job is done right. Very happy with the results
