Two Men And A Truck

I hired Two Men and a Truck for an internal move They arrived promptly and completed the move quickly without damaging anything. There were several pieces of sports memorabilia in the basement and I realized an item was missing after they had been in my house. I am the only person aside from the movers who have been in my basement for many months. I did not monitor them while they were working because I thought it would be better if I stayed out of their way. When I realized the picture was missing, I searched the basement for several days before calling them and was told since it was an internal move and nothing was put in their truck that all they could do was ask the movers if they had taken it, there was no way of proving they had or had not and there is not a thing I could do about it. I would say that if you do hire them, make sure they are closely watched at all times and insist on searching their truck, including the cab, and taking pictures before they leave.

Everything went amazingly well. The two men were done in 20 min.

We were their last move scheduled for 3 pm on a Saturday. They were running a little behind and they called to let us know so that we weren't just waiting. They arrived at the storage locker and began moving right away. They worked at a steady pace an finished in two hours. They were very careful and took care of all the pieces they were moving.

It went great! The movers were on time, they were courteous, they were careful, they were efficient. The total cost was in line with the estimate. The office called a couple times on the day of service to verify the moving team was on the job and there were no problems.

They exceeded my expectations. They were able to come out within 24 hours of my calling them. They covered the floor, stairs, and stair railing the whole distance they would be carrying the tub. Courteous professional guys. They carried it up without any problems. I would highly recommend them.

They are the best, ever.  They are great on the phone and polite.  The movers they send do change from time to time but they are always patient, diligent, never complain, and wonderful. They have reasonable pricing and are always upfront with pricing as well, there are never hidden fees. I highly recommend them to others.

It was a very stressful experience.

Scott, Blake, and Taylor arrived 15 minutes early and worked quickly. Everything arrived in perfect condition and they didn't leave so much as a scuff on the wall at either residence. And the move was completed within about 10 minutes of the estimate I was given over the phone.

It took 11.5 hours for three men at $170/hour.  When i made the arrangments and asked what happens if it rains, they assured me no problem and that they would lay down protective flooring at no cost to me.  IT TOOK THEM ALMOST TWO HOURS at $170/hour at the house we were moving from and they were going to have to do it again at the destiatnion home!  I had three young men with NO HUSTLE.  The reason I used them was that the last time I had some 50 something vietnam vets that strapped furniture on their backs and carried the load of three men.  These guys were obviously rookies and had to be told what to do and how to do it.  They arrived at 9:00 a.m. and put the first piece on the truck at approximately 12:30.  There was too much time spent standing around waiting for someone to direct them.  It took them until 4:00 (without a break for lunch) to leave my house.  I told them to go eat and i would meet them at the new house and they arrived at 5:00 p.m.   I proceeded on the trip to the new house  to contact their office and insisted someone meet me at my new house.  The man did come out and when I told him how long it took for them to put protection on the floor he told me it should have taken ten minutes.  He proceeded to do it himself at the new house and did it in 20.  They finally, with their boss AND MY HUSBAND now helping, started unloading the truck.  My husband and I set up one bed and my husband and their boss set up the other.  They just laid things in a room without staging them properly.  For instance, nightstands at the foot of the bed or in front of a closet door instead of on either side of a headboard.  It was ridiculous.  AND THEY FORGOT to move my refrigerator and had to turn around and go back and get it, taking another hour and my husband's time to go over there with them.  So three extra of us helped the three of them move for 3.5 more hours (including the return trip time) and the fact that i made them put the glass back in my hutch that they had taken out and just left me with the box of glass. When the first piece of furniture came in the house, the kid held it out to me when he walked in and said, "Here."  I said, "You have got to be kidding.  I am not carrying one more thing today!  I moved all weekend and I'm paying YOU to move today!"  It totally ruined our day and our moving experience.  I don't have a large house and it was supposed to take 8 hours with a refrigerator, a third bedroom, and 50 boxes - which they didn't even have to move!  Words to the wise when researching movers:   ASK FOR AN EXPERIENCED CREW WITH HUSTLE WITH WHOMEVER YOU DO USE, AND DON'T MOVE ON A RAINY DAY AND PAY TO HAVE THEM PUT STUFF ON YOUR FLOOR AT A HIGH RATE.  9:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.  NO ONE CAN BELIEVE IT! 
I want to be paid for the 3.5 hours my husband and I helped move!    There is no basement in my old house, just three bedrooms of which we only moved two.  The whole garage had been moved.  The patio furniture had been moved.  We moved every closet in the house.  They had been told there would be a third bedroom and 50 boxes and two end tables that they didn't have to wrap and put on the truck.  They put them in the garage for us, but it was on the same floor and a straight shot of just picking them up and laying them in the garage. 
I left a message for them saying that I would be leaving a bad review on the BBB and Angie's List website and no one called me back so I guess that's okay with them! 
I was misled and taken advantage of in this move.  I will never use them again and the two people at work that were waiting on reviews from me for this company's performance for their moves are now not going to use them.

They were very professional.  They took care to properly pack my items.

It was excellent. When we called they came out on time with two extra men. I would use them for anything. They were great. They are an A plus. There is no doubt I would use them again.

We've used them in the past before even the company back in other states.  They've always been reliable.  I like their reliability.  We never had any issues with them.

Scott and his crew and Two Men and a Truck were amazing! This was our second move with them in the last 6 months. Both times they get an A+. They arrived exactly when they said they would and worked from 8:00 AM till 4:30 PM moving us from one house and public storage into our new house. The first move they finished before their scheduled end time. The second move was not easy. We had a piano and a sleeper sofa that had to go down a very very tight staircase. The sleeper sofa was seemingly impossible to get down the stairs, but they tried it at every angle and finally got it down and in place. Other than minor dings in the wall when moving the monstrous sleeper sofa, the house and our things were exactly as they were before the move.
 These guys were courteous, timely and most of all professional movers. They wrapped all of our furniture in pads. They took apart the furniture that needed to be taken apart then re-assembled it in place. They removed doors and railings that were needed to be removed for the move, then put them back.
DO NOT waste your money on cheap movers. If you value your things and want your move to be as stress free as possible, you need to use Two Men and a Truck.
