True Craftsmen

Andrew and Phil are true craftsman - the work they did was exquisite and they were painstaking in their own evaluation. They put in the effort to make sure that varnish colors matched perfectly between rooms and put in considerable effort to ensure that the joins between rooms matched level. They painstakingly interleaved new and old boards at the join between our foyer (already wood floored) and living room (where they laid new flooring), sanded and varnished the foyer floor to match even though we had not contracted for that work - all because it was, in their opinion, necessary to do the best job. Their work was perfect - and they put in every effort to be sure that both we and they agreed that it was perfect or beyond.
In addition to being such amazing craftsmen, they were always on time, always pleasant, animal friendly and ready to lend a hand at anything needed to get the job done. They moved all the heavy furniture out of the rooms they were working in and back into those rooms when they were fully satisfied with the job they had done (we had been satisfied a bit earlier - but the extra work did make things even better). They are totally trustworthy, highly professional, and very easy to work with - we could not be happier with the work they did

Everything about this project was actually better than perfect - highly professional at the level of fine craftsmanship. Andrew and Phil showed a concern for detail that actually exceeded my own, making the finished product absolutely perfect. They repaired issues with our subflooring that we did not know existed - it no longer squeaks when you walk on it! They matched varnish colors perfectly. They always cleaned up - not easy considering the amount of sanding required in this work. They used quality materials in every aspect of the project and informed us of everything they were doing or thinking about doing throughout the project. Our floors, it turned out, were not exactly even - so when they came to replace the floorboards they were not completely flush with the new flooring in all places. Andrew and Phil actually pointed this out to us, suggested a remedy, and then applied that remedy at minimal cost to us despite the fact that it meant more work for them - true perfectionists! We could not be happier with the work or the craftsmen who accomplished it. If you want a floor laid, tilework or trim I cannot think of a better company to provide it.
