Good. They took out 4 old windows downstairs and replaced. Took out a single door in our basement and replaced with French doors. Had a couple other small I down replaced. Would use again.

Beware. About 11 years ago, the top sash of one of our double hung windows was damaged in a storm. We hired a contractor (no longer in business) who hired Penny Window to replace the top sash. About five years ago, the sash Penny Window replaced completely fogged up. Today I ran across a Penny Window business card I had saved, I called them and spoke with "Bob", explained the circumstances and asked him if Penny Window would stand behind their product and installation. He said if I bring the sash into their shop, they can replace the glass for $125; if they come to our house and pick it up it will be $250. We have 14 Alside vinyl windows, all probably 15 years old, and this window sash supplied by Penny Window is the only glass that is fogged up. Unless you want to replace your window glass every 6 or so years, I would stay away from this company.

My mother had two replacement windows done by Penny Window. She had an old air conditioner in one and Penny removed it and hauled it away. She also had an old TV in the bedroom where the window was being replaced. They hauled that away also. When the guy showed up to replace the windows the front screen door handle fell off. Scottie fixed that for her. You just can't beat that for service beyond expectations. Oh by the way the windows are great.

I can't say enough good things about this company. The rep who came to the house to measure the door and look at the windows was very nice and was very informative. My house is an older house so the door was a custom door because of the jam size. The door was ready for installation just like they anticipated. The crew that came out to install the door was right on time and extremely nice and professional. I would use them again for any window and door needs. I had several other bids from other companies and theirs was the best price and a better quality.

Initial contact was made at New Halls Ferry store. Staff wad friendly and helpful. An employee came out for measuring and provided estimate. Price was excellent. Contract was signed with deposit and windows were delivered and installed in about six weeks. Installers were professional and VERY clean with all work. We are very satisfied and will definitely use again! Quality windows.

Excellent service, outstanding results.  Penny was the only company (out of 5) to recommend a full tear-out of the old wood frame versus just installing the window inserts into the existing wood frame.  The final result looks outstanding.  No additional expense for fancier and wider trim around the new windows.

A Penny Window employee came to the house promptly after I called to measure my windows.  He told me it would be 4-6 Weeks for the windows to come in.  He didn't tell me it would be another two months after that before they could get to my installation.  However, they did call me when they had a cancellation, so it ended up being about 5 weeks instead of two months.  The installers did a good job and I was pleaseed with the installation.  After the first day, I found a nail on the deck steps that was pointed upward.  I asked them if there was any more in the yard, and they told me no, that they had picked them all up.  After they left the second day, I found approximately 70 rusty nails in the yard from siding they had to remove and reinstall.  If anyone, including my family or my dogs had stepped on them, they would have punctured their foot with a rusty nail.  I called and talked to the person answering the phone at Penny Window.  She took the information and said she would give it to management.  I never heard back.  An apology would have been nice!  So even though they did a good job with the windows, the cleanup was terrible.

The service tech they sent out came in with muddy feet, not once but twice. Once to give an estimate and once to fix the sash. Let a tracked in mess both times. Took almost three weeks to get the parts. I did not say anything to the tech because I was under pressure to get this inspection item done before closing and did not want to rock the boat. We just barely made it by four days. They fixed the window but the parts that were replaced were raw metal and not painted like the original. They were not cheap at all, especially when you consider the above. They were inconsiderate of other peoples property and the tech was late to boot. I worked many years for a service company who's techs had to go indoor to repair or service items and they were trained to put on clean shoe booties every call. They are pennys per pair, but it shows consideration for others property . I would pay 10% more for a considerate, clean, punctual tech who installed painted parts!!
I would not use them again.

Once I called, they sent someone out within a week to take measurements for the windows.  He explained all my options for replacing the storms versus ordering custom replacements.  Mark was prompt, nice, and professional.  He told me that it would take 6 weeks to get the windows in and it was almost 6 weeks exactly.  I was able to schedule the installation right away.   The two man crew that came to install the windows, arrived early and were getting things ready when I arrived home.  They were both professional and very nice.  They did a really nice job of installing and even cleaning the windows before and after installation.
They were also able to replace a broken window in our 100 year old French doors that looks great.  Just needs a little touch up paint.  Overall, very pleased and will use Penny Window again.

I placed the order in their store and picked it up a month later. Since it was wider than my truck bed they helped insure that it wouldn't blow out driving on the highway.  The window fit perfectly.

Arrived promptly, gave me a written estimate and did all the measuring to order the glass.  When glass became available, they installed the patio door, however, the windows were 27 years old and difficult to remove.  They worked diligently to remove these windows and replace the glass.  I was very impressed with the time spent on this project with no increase in cost to me.  I would definitely use them again.

They were totally professional, had to do some adjusting because the window was a bit smaller than the old window, and made it all fit.  They cleaned up their mess and were very polite and made sure I understood what they were saying.
Will definitely use in the future.

They did good work at a reasonable cost.  They gave me a "ballpark" estimate over the phone based on my rough measurements of the panes, then a person came out and measured himself and gave me a proposal which was in line with the ball park estimate.  Only problem was that the first installer that came out quickly determined that t was a two man job, and he installed one pane he could get to and then had to reschedule the other two windows when they could get two guys out.  All tld it took about a month, icluding wait time for the window glass to arrive.
