Very well. They had a very good eye for style and color of frame and matting to enhance the artwork.

I can't say enough about the service and quality at Norton's. I took in an art print to be framed. They had a wide selection of frames and mattes, and Mary guided me through the options and suggested a shadow box treatment to show off the torn edge of the print. The result is a stunning showpiece.

They helped my wife locate the print, then after the holidays, they framed it along with another print we had. They had a lot of samples to choose from, and Mary was very helpful in suggesting different colors and textures for the matte and frame for both pieces. Their professional touch took what was basically a very nice poster, and turned it into an heirloom that hangs prominently in our family room.

A family heirloom, a large beautiful antique mirror, was delivered to us in pieces from the east coast. The mirror itself was shattered and the carved gold wooden frame was chipped and broken. Norton's was recommended to us as the only place in the area that might be able to handle a repair job like this, so we brought it in. We were told that there were three restorers they use. Each had his own way of working and his own pricing schedule. They obtained three estimates for us and we chose the middle option that promised quality work but slower service than the highest estimate. Slow it was! The job really took two months, but we are very happy with the result! Mary and Ty kept us informed about the progress of our project via email and phone. We had input about the kind of finishes used on the frame, the style of mirror to be inserted in the repaired frame and the vertical orientation of the hanging wire. We picked up the mirror today, but not before we had a thorough lesson in how to hang it. Mary even spent 15 minutes on the phone with American Express trying to get us bonus points for our purchase! This is a business that understands the value of customer service. We will continue to bring our framing business here in the future.
