Great company for roofing, masonry, siding and gutters. Always answers and returns phone calls and response time is excellent. Very patient when explaining what needs to be done and answers questions thoroughly. I would use MLK Construction again for any of my roofing or masonry needs.

Loved the service and attention from estimate through clean-up!   Matt provided photos of our damaged roof  (we were shocked to see how bad it really was).  Kim, at the office, was a great source for explaining the estimate and helping us choose the best product and service from the many choices available.  The level of communication was far above our expectations:  during the work day, we were kept informed of progress; additional unanticipated work was required due to the condition of the roof and it was fully explained.  Matt stopped by at the end of the day to make certain everything was done according to their high standards.  I would recommend MLK to anyone who wants high quality and professional services.  These guys (and Kim, the office manager) are great!

I've been working on a gut rehab down in the City on a large commercial/residential building. I've worked with over a dozen contractors up to this point and MLK was pleasantly one of the first companies I started to work with and will continue to use in the future. From my first meeting with Ray to Matt and Greg, these guys are straight forward and are extremely knowledgeable and take great care of you as a customer. The bid was the best I'd received in terms of pricing as well as thoroughness to match the needs of our project. The execution was great and the team worked fast and hard despite being one of the hottest times of the year. I also had tuckpointing and brickwork being done at the same time and Matt helped to coordinate where the two trades overlapped. Matt also sent me pictures of progress along the way via email or Dropbox which is just such a nice touch and helped when I couldn't be at the job site. Overall, these guys are pros who tell you how it is and deliver on what they say while being friendly and down to earth.

I had a leaking roof on my four family flat with a flat roof. I called to get bids from several companies and found that I was not getting a call back from most of the companies I called. I emailed MLK Construction to request a bid and promptly received a call back from Greg the next morning. He scheduled an appointment with me around my schedule as I wanted to speak with him about some other concerns as well. They came out and thoroughly looked over the roof and then wrote up my options for repair and replacement. Greg was very thorough in explaining every option I had on the roofing issues and stayed to answer questions until I had every one of my questions answered. During his inspection Greg even found that I had two chimneys that were in dire need of tuck pointing, flashing that was sub par, a kitchen vent pipe that was sealed shut that needed to be re-opened and even made sure my guttering was affixed properly ( I had recently had the balconies replaced and was unsure if the guttering had been re-attached correctly). At the end of it all, Greg met me again (on a Sunday to work with my schedule) so I could go up on the roof and take a look and have any questions/concerns answered that I might have. The roof looked great! Tuck pointing of the two chimneys was very professionally done; the fascia on the front of my building was nicely done. We had a significant rain the day after the roof was complete and I had no reports of leaking. I am very happy with MLK Construction; the promptness of their call back; the personal attention and the professional job they did. I have other work that needs to be completed in a few months once we get nicer weather and will definitely be calling them back. It is hard to find a company that won't try to sell you what you don't need but Greg was upfront with what was going on with my roof and did not try to up sell me in any way.
