I can not say enough great things about Keith Jones from JCE Installation and Repairs. From the very first contact Keith exhibited high integrity, punctuality, and open communication. I have never met a contractor with such a strong work ethic and integrity. He genuinely cares about the quality of work he does. He listened patiently to all of my concerns and instructions regarding the installation of 10 new paneled solid core door slabs to replace the old flat hollow core doors. He explained in a way that I would understand what he would be doing, then did exactly what he said he would do. He does the work carefully but quickly and places a drop cloth under each door he is working on to catch any mess then completely cleaned up any shavings after. Our home is over 120 years old and nothing is level or square so it was a challenge, on top of that I am an absolute nut for symmetry. I am beyond pleased and so happy with the new doors and installed door knob sets. They are absolutely beautiful. Keith is a highly detail oriented, resourceful, meticulous, skilled craftsman. He trimmed all the doors to perfection and bored all the holes for the door knob sets and installed the knobs and hinges beautifully, readjusting the doors as needed to fit all of our very crooked door frames. I had some horrible experiences with flakey contractors in the past, but Keith has given me a great example of how a contractor/craftsman should ideally conduct themselves through all aspects of a project. I would definitely hire him again, it was a pleasure to have him in our home. He truly enjoys installing doors.

We hired JCE Installs to repair, sand and stain our deck. Not only did they show up exactly when they said they would, we always got a call 15 mins before to let us know they were coming. As for the work, it was exceptional. It was completely expertly and on time, and I could tell that they were thinking about the job and researching different solutions to the various problems the deck had whether it was rebuilding and reattaching the door, repairing the benches or making sure we were using the right stain for the job and applying it at the right time with regards to temperature and forecast. We even had a secondary job that required a carpenter and JCE was able to hook us up with someone who got that job done quickly and well. This is third contractor we tried to work with to get the deck done, and after being let down by the first two, we were thinking it would never get finished. I'd absolutely recommend JCE to any of my friends or relatives. It is clear that they take pride in their work and are willing to take the time to make sure the job gets done both right AND within the price range quoted.
