April–July 2022: C.J. Plumbing installed new water service line, & PVC drain lines & PEX water lines to new first-floor bathroom. Work was deficient in multiple respects & supplies stated in contract were paid for but not provided. Corey Jaggie was contacted multiple times over a year to resolve. Outside plumbers & contractors were consulted & have confirmed deficiencies. Written & photo evidence available. • Did not supply gravel to backfill trenches to ensure proper fall • Did not backfill exterior to grade with gravel • Did not cover excavated tree lawn with grass seed & straw • Hydraulic cement not used to patch old & new water service areas in basement – water enters basement when it rains • French drain channel concreted over. Water runs onto basement floor instead of going to sump pump. • O-ring in shower assembly not properly installed causing shower heads to leak • Sink not centered, caulking & drywall damaged during recentering • Shower trim damaged, shower base chipped

"All inspections were passed by the city of St Louis, She has lost her claim with the attorney general, Better Business Bureau and the courts so I guess her next step is to try and ruin our company's good name. I'm sorry you feel this way but please try to be a better person and do the right thing."

We have had an ongoing problem with the stack pipe and water leaking into new bath and laundry room. I spoke with Corey who is unbelievably condescending and downright rude. I was told the warranty has passed, which is probably true since the work was completed 1.5 years ago, but a good reputation would be best built with courtesy and not meanness. I've had to hire another plumber and had 2 washer repair people out to tell me it is likely a faulty stack pipe installed by this company.

"[Member Name Removed], I attempted to look up the job in our system and I don't see that we performed work here at that address. I am the owner and do not ever recall talking to you either. I would definitely have taking care of your issue no problem so I'm sorry to see you felt had to go to this extreme. If you read reviews about her company below I'm surprised that you went to here instead of just giving me a call especially when reading how great we are with customer service."

I called to have someone come out to give an estimate for various plumbing projects at our new home. Corey was very professional and responsive through the process of setting a meeting time. He arrived on time and listened as I explained what we were looking to have done. He gave information about each of the identified issues in a way that was easy to understand and was honest in letting me know we were better off contracting an hourly-rate plumber due to the straightforward nature of what we needed. I apologized for having wasted his time, and he was very gracious in expressing that it was no trouble at all. He even gave me referral information for an hourly rate plumber and an electrician. I would definitely hire them for any larger project that arises in the future.

Very well, all in all. Owner gave timely bid and was communicative re: my questions and timeline. Once scheduled, lateral was replaced at a competitive price. Trenched concrete flooring of garage floor was replaced and finished flawlessly. It took a little extra asking to get the concrete repair at the alley completed, but their team ultimately responded favorably. Have recommended to a friend since then.

"Hello, I tried to look you up in our system and it looks like we have not done a job for you or do you have the right company? The name given your address or anything that is in our system for the last 10 years. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with whatever plumbing company you used however."

I can't say enough great things about these guys. To start, Corey came out to give us a bid as promised and even gave me some ideas on the bathroom remodel. Then he actually sent the bid over in the promised timeline unlike others and his prices were extremely fair. He was courteous and professional during the process. Then the plumbers showed up two different times to install the tub and couldn't due to some mess ups on our end. As you can imagine, we felt horrible but Corey and his guys were great. Never once did they get frustrated with our mistakes and Corey even offered some ideas/people that could help us out. Once we got the issues fixed on our end, the guys showed up and did the job in a timely manner. They were very professional and were great with our 2-year old son who wanted to be in the way watching them work. The install looks great and we were extremely satisfied. We will definitely use them in the future if we have any plumbing needs.

The crew arrived when they said the would. The entire job took about 6 hours from arrival to refilling the holes and cleanup.

They used a boring machine ( and quot;moleand quot; ) to bore a hole from the basement wall to a hole dug in some decorative rock just before the city sidewalk ( about 48 feet ). The mole came out within a foot of the and quot;targetand quot;. ( Very good aim. )

Then they bored a hole from the and quot;decorative rockand quot; hole to a hole dug at the T-head -- and pulled the new copper line from the basement to the T-head. Then they connected the new copper line to the T-head.

The use of the boring machine meant that no holes needed to be dug in the lawn or landscaping. ( A big plus. )

When they filled the hole at the T-head, they were very careful to support the T-head with crushed rock and a large flat stone, before carefully adding more crushed rock until it was covered. Only then did they fill the rest of the hole with a backhoe.

The connections in the basement were done and the entire system tested.

Overall we are very satisfied and would recommend them.

It was excellent. CJ Plumbing had to repair and replace the incorrect work, and the damage in the front yard that a prior plumber had done. They wrote a professional estimate, which included all the information about replacing the lateral sewer lines from house to sidewalk, and the main water line, which had been damaged by prior plumber. They arrived early and finished in 9-10 hours what the prior plumber had not been able to do in a week! They were very professional, answered any questions I had, put my front yard, which is on a hill, back to "normal", and followed-up on work. Corey was always available for questions. I have already recommended them to others!

From start to finish this was one of the most professional and highest quality experiences I have ever had. We (wife and I) awoke on a Saturday morning to no running water and a flooded front yard. Called the city who were all too happy to shut it off at the meter in the street (under the sidewalk actually). Water shut off + flood from beneath the front yard stops = broken main between meter and house. Our problem so we get to call a plumber. After having attempted to get the issue resolved immediately and having that be a complete failure (yeah that's another report), we opted to just let the problem exist through the weekend since we weren't going to be home anyway. I wouldn't normally bring up the negative in a positive report but after having such an abysmal experience in trying to get this resolved right away, this was first class service and impeccable response from a company that really didn't owe us any special favors. This was our first experience with CJ Plumbing and I can assure you that it will NOT be our last.
My wife called and left a message at 8:00 a.m. on Monday and Corey (I can only assume the C in CJ) returned her call by 8:30 a.m. to discuss the situation. At 9:30 a.m. he called again with a verbal quote to which my wife gave a verbal consent to do the work. At 10:50 a.m. Sara from their offices emailed to inform us that she had secured the necessary permits. By 4:30 p.m. she had emailed us a written copy of the quote/contract and informed us that the crew would be starting Tuesday morning by 7:30 a.m. At 7:30 Tuesday morning, work began and by about 5:00 p.m. the crew had broken out the section of sidewalk that covered the city meter, bored a new hole through the foundation wall out to the meter, replaced/relocated the entire main with new 1and quot; copper, installed a new main shut-off, back-filled the hole and poured a new section of concrete to replace what they had removed. The basement in the area around the new main was actually cleaner than it had been before they did the work if you want the truth. We both had to work all day Tuesday so he have yet to actually meet any of these fine people face-to-face. But in a matter of 32.5 hours CJ Plumbing had quoted the work, secured permits and completed the project leaving us with running water and a job-site that if it weren't for the shiny new copper coming through the foundation wall, neither my wife nor myself would have known was ever a job-site. This is unparalleled service and attention to detail. Through the entire process we were either at work or otherwise not able to be present and yet nothing seemed to be able to keep this project from rolling along to completion in an incredibly timely manner. This was our first experience with CJ Plumbing but it will not be our last.

Corey (the owner) was very accommodating and timely, and the pricing was great. I was referred to him by a friend, and I'll definitely call him again in the future. This was easily the best experience I've ever had with a plumber!

They did a beautiful job and their price was better than anyone else's. The owned came out himself with his crew and did the work. They were all great and did a great job. They cleaned up and got it all done in one day. They got everything done in the time they said they would do it and for the price they originally. I'd give them an A+ if we could.

After discovering a leak in my water pipe i needed to get a contractor in place quickly. I called two places. I left a message with Corey and he called me back promptly said he could come by that afternoon to give me an estimate. His estimate was roughly 15% cheaper than the other one i had. I was able to communicate with Corey via email over the weekend to tell him i would use C-J to do the job. He pulled the necessary permits Monday morning and his team was able to do the job on Thursday. The job went smoothly. The water was shut off for a period of a few hours, before i knew it they were patching the basement wall and filling the hole out by the side walk. Other than the mound of dirt that will settle out over time, you could scarcely tell any work had been done. Steve was professional and courteous. I got a call from the owner, Corey, a day or so later to follow-up on the job. I would hire C-J again.

After getting several bids, this company was very reasonable. I needed a main water line replaced from my house to the street due to a water leak.

This company did a superb job. They are very professional. The job was completed in less than a full day. I am completely satisfied with this company and would highly recommend them.

First, this is my 2nd report on CJ, and, as always, they lived up to their reputation from my previous experience. I spoke with Corey while I was in the middle of the project, and called when I was ready to have the rough in done. Corey sent Ed (Very good plumber) over to run Pex from my existing copper lines for the Faucet and Dishwasher. He also suggested that I increase the size of my waste pipe, which I agreed to. After accomplishing that, he also added a line for my Ice maker on my refrigerator, which had been moved 9 feet from it's old spot. He accomplished all of this in a very short time, and did not take any shortcuts doing it, all the hangers were placed appropriately spaced, and shutoff valves were placed where they should have been. He also added an outside faucet to replace the old one. This was all done after my cabinetry had been installed, but beofre the granite countertops were installed. Since the granite was due to be installed in less than a week, I asked Corey to schedule Ed to return the day after the granite was installed, and, true to his word, Ed showed up at 8:00 a.m. as promised to install the Faucet, and Dishwasher. I also had moved my sove to the island, and Ed moved the gas line 9 feet to get my stove hooked up. Ed did a fine job on the plumbing, and is a true gem. I paid Ed by check when they were done, and Corey's wife sent me a nice note, and a copy of the paid invoice via email before the day was over.

I heartily recommend CJ plumbing for all your plumbing needs, and especially if you have a historic home, where the challenges are many.

Thanks again Corey for getting this done so quickly.

Enjoyed working with Corey! Work exceeded expectations and appreciated hourly rate adjustment due to communication/schedule difficulties. Thanks CJ Plumbing.
