"All inspections were passed by the city of St Louis, She has lost her claim with the attorney general, Better Business Bureau and the courts so I guess her next step is to try and ruin our company's good name. I'm sorry you feel this way but please try to be a better person and do the right thing."
"[Member Name Removed], I attempted to look up the job in our system and I don't see that we performed work here at that address. I am the owner and do not ever recall talking to you either. I would definitely have taking care of your issue no problem so I'm sorry to see you felt had to go to this extreme. If you read reviews about her company below I'm surprised that you went to here instead of just giving me a call especially when reading how great we are with customer service."
"Hello, I tried to look you up in our system and it looks like we have not done a job for you or do you have the right company? The name given your address or anything that is in our system for the last 10 years. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with whatever plumbing company you used however."
The crew arrived when they said the would. The entire job took about 6 hours from arrival to refilling the holes and cleanup.
They used a boring machine ( and quot;moleand quot; ) to bore a hole from the basement wall to a hole dug in some decorative rock just before the city sidewalk ( about 48 feet ). The mole came out within a foot of the and quot;targetand quot;. ( Very good aim. )
Then they bored a hole from the and quot;decorative rockand quot; hole to a hole dug at the T-head -- and pulled the new copper line from the basement to the T-head. Then they connected the new copper line to the T-head.
The use of the boring machine meant that no holes needed to be dug in the lawn or landscaping. ( A big plus. )
When they filled the hole at the T-head, they were very careful to support the T-head with crushed rock and a large flat stone, before carefully adding more crushed rock until it was covered. Only then did they fill the rest of the hole with a backhoe.
The connections in the basement were done and the entire system tested.
Overall we are very satisfied and would recommend them.
My wife called and left a message at 8:00 a.m. on Monday and Corey (I can only assume the C in CJ) returned her call by 8:30 a.m. to discuss the situation. At 9:30 a.m. he called again with a verbal quote to which my wife gave a verbal consent to do the work. At 10:50 a.m. Sara from their offices emailed to inform us that she had secured the necessary permits. By 4:30 p.m. she had emailed us a written copy of the quote/contract and informed us that the crew would be starting Tuesday morning by 7:30 a.m. At 7:30 Tuesday morning, work began and by about 5:00 p.m. the crew had broken out the section of sidewalk that covered the city meter, bored a new hole through the foundation wall out to the meter, replaced/relocated the entire main with new 1and quot; copper, installed a new main shut-off, back-filled the hole and poured a new section of concrete to replace what they had removed. The basement in the area around the new main was actually cleaner than it had been before they did the work if you want the truth. We both had to work all day Tuesday so he have yet to actually meet any of these fine people face-to-face. But in a matter of 32.5 hours CJ Plumbing had quoted the work, secured permits and completed the project leaving us with running water and a job-site that if it weren't for the shiny new copper coming through the foundation wall, neither my wife nor myself would have known was ever a job-site. This is unparalleled service and attention to detail. Through the entire process we were either at work or otherwise not able to be present and yet nothing seemed to be able to keep this project from rolling along to completion in an incredibly timely manner. This was our first experience with CJ Plumbing but it will not be our last.
This company did a superb job. They are very professional. The job was completed in less than a full day. I am completely satisfied with this company and would highly recommend them.
I heartily recommend CJ plumbing for all your plumbing needs, and especially if you have a historic home, where the challenges are many.
Thanks again Corey for getting this done so quickly.
