CWC Roofing (Cambridge Wilson & Co) Over the past couple of years I'd been growing more and more concerned about the roof on the home I had built in 2000. The roof was 13 1/2 years old when I decided to contact my insurance company about it. The adjuster brought a roofing expert with him to help assess the overall state of the roof. The roofing guy, Fred Richter, from CWC Roofing stayed after the adjuster left and made it clear to me that I would get a new roof for whatever price the adjuster landed at. It just so happened that Fred and I hit it off from the start finding common ground in the fact that we are both Christians. Fred and I had a very pleasant conversation on our initial meeting as well as during some follow-up phone calls. He was 100% true to his word regarding the estimate. I paid a $250 deductible and for only $200 more Fred upgraded me to 30 year architectural shingles. Not only did I get a new roof but Fred pointed out some gutter damage to the adjuster and I ended up with all new gutters too! The crew that came to do the work hit the ground running. They ripped off the old roof and worked well into the evening hours and, while they were not quite able to complete the job in a single day, the showed up the next morning and completed the job by late morning. Ben Schubert, the Quality and Safety Manager from CWC, showed up a few times during the job which spoke volumes to me; clearly they wanted to be sure that I was the recipient of quality workmanship but after having spent some time chatting with Ben I could see that he was also very concerned about the safety of the workers. When the job was done you couldn't even tell they'd been here except for the fact that I had a good looking new roof and sparkling white gutters which were actually put on by a separate crew. Both of the men I dealt with were very friendly and consciencious people. I don't know if I'll ever meet them again but if I do I can certainly call them my friends because that is exactly what I consider them. So, the bottom line... if you need a roof and maybe even some new friends, give Fred Richter or anyone else at CWC a call.
