I like Honda, they have a pleasant waiting room, and have snacks available and a T.V.    They're good, they listen, they do what you ask for.

It's something you got to do, it was fine.  They leaned real heavy on buying extended warranty and I looked the company up that they were pushing on-line, and they had a lot of bad reviews, I said no way, why would I use these people for an extended warranty when nobody's happy with them, and they did kind of lean heavily on that and I didn't care for that.

We've always find them to be very good. I'd rate them an A across the board. We'll continue to go there. For a Toyota, they are very good, they do it quick, and they're very responsive.

They are good with their services, but their prices are ridiculous.  They are very friendly and make you comfortable at their dealership.  They have someone who brings out refreshments for you and a game area for children.  It's very accommodating and they are very thorough with explaining stuff.  What's frustrating to me is I bought a 10 year warranty on my vehicle, but it seems like every time I go in there nothing is covered under my warranty.  I would tell them to review their warranties and not over charge their customers.

Was on vacation in the St. Louis area. We got a nail in one of our tires in a way that ruin the entire tire. We were far away from home and in a location that we did not know anyone. We were able to contact Pappas Toyota by texting. Even though the company was busy the operator got us a appointment. The company employees were very polite. The building was clean, spacious, and waiting room was comfortable. I was not able to compare the quality or price of the tire with other locations due to this being a emergency. But from what I seen I was very satisfied with there service and products. I plan to use them again when necessary without question.

Pappas has been servicing my car for years and I am ALWAYS satisfied with their work and professionalism. I first started taking my car to Pappas Service when it had less than 100,000 miles on the odemeter. It now has more than 300,000 miles! That speaks volumes for the care, concern and expertise of the service department. Thanks to Brent and John for keeping my car on the road for literally hundreds of thousands of miles!

As a 30yr non-professional technician I had performed an extensive amount of required maintenance on a large Lexus and ran into an electrical issue that baffled me.  I am very scheptical of any repair facility.  Prepared a sheet of what the vehicle was doing and what the problem was and had the vehicle towed to Pappas.  I had arranged for an early appointment and I called to ask if I need to come in or can we handle everything over the phone, in which Sarah stated that they had everything to begin.  They called me back to say that diagnosing the problem was going to take longer than the first hour, and called me back shortly with the root cause and whether I wanted them to remedy the problem or shall I.  Since I was very aware of the solution at that point I completed the work on my own.  Pappas arranged everything and communicated in an extremely clear and professional manner.  I never actually went to the dealer and arranged everything over the phone.  Pappas called me back the following day to confirm I was satisfied.

We purchased a minivan from Pappa's Toyota in 2009 and they serviced the car since then. I was happy with their service until today's horrible experience with Gino the service advisor. I took the car for 45,000 maintenance that included 51-point inspection, oil change, and tire rotation. As Gino was filling out my service sheet, another Pappa's employee got in the office and informed me that my car's alignment was off. I was surprised to hear that due to: 1) I have not asked them to do alignment check 2) the minivan was still in the drop-off area.  I simply asked Gino why they performed a service I have not asked for and his reply was "What is the big deal, the alignment check was complimentary".  I then asked him if it was part of the 51-point inspection and he said yes. When I asked Gino to prove it by showing me the 51-point inspection list, he could not as I am pretty sure alignment check was not part of the list.  I have two other cars and the dealerships never performed alignment check under multipoint inspection. Long story short, we both got upset and he first told me to leave his office and then when we were out of his office told me to leave the dealership in front of other customers and employees. Gino said they can refuse to provide service to anyone. I said that might be true under certain circumstances, but this is not one of them. I wanted to speak with the service manager, but he was not there so I ended up speaking with the parts manager first and after that the owner of the dealership. I informed both of them that the way Gino treated me was unacceptable and the owner assured me that he will have a talk with Gino. By the way, the parts manager showed me the machine located in the drop off area that checked my car's alignment. It looks pretty small and seems like it uses laser to check the alignment. I have no idea how the machine works, but based on the conversation with the manager, it does not sound very reliable as they double check the results with a conventional alignment unit when they take the car to the service area. It makes me wonder if they would let the customers know if the initial results were wrong or simply pretend like they fixed the alignment and charge for it. As a result of this unpleasant experience, I decided not to use Pappa's Toyota  for my future car purchase/service. I am sure there are other Toyota dealers that will appreciate my business. Thanks for reading.
Response from Pappas Toyota
"We do apologize for the poor treatment you received here at our dealership. I am glad you were able to speak with both Kyle Albrecht and Tom Pappas. Kyle is now our facility service manager and Tom is still the owner. We are constantly attempting to improve the speed and quality of our customer's experience. At the time of this review, we had just recently installed the new alignment checking equipment. As a precaution of exactly what this customer's feelings were, we had been double checking the system with traditional alignment check to ensure accuracy so that no customer would be charged for unnecessary work. The machine is still in place and works very well. We hope that you will allow us the opportunity to work with you again and prove our customer service is not what you experienced on that day."

They had some coupon so I had a variety of things done.  They had it as a special package.  I like them a lot.  I bought by car from another Toyota dealership and had bought my previous car from the same place as well and I probably had service done there for 15 years.  My car broke down in St. Charles County and I had to have it towed.  It was not going to cost me to have it towed to Pappas, but it would have cost me to have it towed to the other place because it's triple A and if it's within a certain number of miles they won't charge, but if it's longer than that it's going to cost.  I went to Pappas because they were close and I began to discover that I had been paying a lot more at the other place than I would have been paying at Pappas.  I was treated like a person at Pappas.  Everybody was very friendly and called me by name.  I made the decision even though it's not as convenient geographically, that it was worth going to Pappas.  It was the savings I was going to have because I started comparing calling the 2 of them and asking how much it would cost if I want this done.  It was consistently a lot cheaper to go to Pappas.  I've been going ever since.  They call me by name which never happened at the other place.  I just feel like they care about me instead of just caring about how much money they can make off of me.  I like Pappas a lot.  They are terrific.  Their price is very good.  I did a comparison with another company too and they were the best.  Their quality is very good.  Their responsiveness and professionalism is very good.  I would continue to use them in the future.

We dont have a toyota dealership close to where we live, I really like the Toyota Sequoia and this dealership proposed the best deal on the vehicle-even though we live 3 hours away we purchased it through them. I had the dealer install a remote start vehicle system. When I got home the remote start did not work. I called the dealership and they were willing to help. They said that I could take it to a local shop and they would pay the bill. I acutally thought that was great. I went to my local shop and he informed me that it was a sub-par system, fixed the problem and the remote start was working (just a loose wire-He didnt even charge me). I was not happy about being sold something that was sub par. I went back to work and remotely started the vehicle-went to unlock the door and only the driver door would unlock-all others remained locked (hence my kids could not open the doors with out me opening the driver door and manually hitting unlock button.) I called back the toyota dealer and they informed me that it was a programming issue. Needless to say I was very upset, I just want to be able to remotely start and unlock my car doors (which keyless entry was standard on my vehicle) The dealer is not willing to help me resolve this matter.
Response from Pappas Toyota
"Our apologies regarding the remote start product you purchased. The locked doors are a security feature built into the programming. This prevents an intruder from accessing your doors when you enter the vehicle. In such large vehicles this is common. An example would be a possible assailant hiding on the other side of your vehicle and sneaking into the back while you wait for your Sequoia to heat or cool. If the remote start is not being used, double clicking the unlock button will release all the doors on a Toyota Sequoia. If the remote start is engaged, only the driver door will unlock until you manually unlock the rest. I do apologize that this was not demonstrated to you when you purchased the vehicle. We have a delivery department that specializes in instructing people on their purchase and the features of operation. I would be happy to discuss your review in further detail, please call our main store line at 636-939-7910 and ask for Matthew Howat."

They noticed a nail in a tire and asked me if I wanted it repaired. Everyone was very curteous. They have complimentary manicures, coffee and fruit in the waiting area. They also gave a complimentary car wash, vaccuuming the floor mats but they didn't wipe down the dash board.

I get some routine maintenance done elsewhere. Pappas service writers are always telling me that 1) the service wasn't done, or 2) it wasn't done properly, i.e., the other mechanics are lying. They are always pushing Toyota parts/services when there is no empirical evidence to suggest that they are superior, for example, batteries, and especially oil, the latter of which I use a specially formulated one and change it myself.

The repair was done promptly - that was not the problem. The mechanic told the service writer that I also needed a) transmission service, b) radiator service, and that c) the belts were "squealing" and needed to be replaced. He determined 'a' and 'b' NOT by checking the fluids, but b/c nothing was listed in their service log for my car. I get both done at other places, which are MUCH cheaper. The belts are NOT squealing. This was a poor attempt on their part to run up my bill and make more money. H*** will freeze over before I ever get any work done there again.
Response from Pappas Toyota
"We sincerely apologize for the poor experience your received. Since your visit there have been substantial changes in our service departments procedures and staff. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to provide the excellent service and quality repair we are known for. If you would like to discuss your experience with a manager, please reach out to us at 636-939-7910 and ask for Matthew Howat. They are very good, prompt and clean. The only thing I don't like is the add-ons and I talked to another company and they said that it was a money maker thing. There are unnecessary repairs like fuel changes. If something was under warranty I would go to him and if it isn't under warranty, I would go somewhere else.

They are good at getting me in and out. They provide Saturday service for us people that are working, which makes it so very nice and convenient. I can drop it off when I am out in that area to have work done on it and pick it up when done. They are real friendly, efficient and they are excellent overall.
