Ultra Steam Carpet Cleaning

Excellent . Exactly what we were hoping for. Will definitely use again.

This is a follow-up to a previous review in which I conveyed a poor experience. Ultrasteam followed up and addressed the situation to my satisfaction. The follow-up was much appreciated, they appear to have done a great job during this second visit. Paul and Ron came out in February to assess the problem areas of the original color seal areas. They hold firm to the assessment that the grout was in bad shape in those specific areas. They repaired the actual grout in the problem areas and re-applied color seal. Beyond that they cleaned the grout lines in the entire room and properly blended the color seal so that all grout lines are uniform. They went above and beyond today, time will tell on the durability for my particular experience but as I told Paul and Ron, I am perfectly happy to pay them for their time and services which extend beyond the scope of the original color seal job, which I believe repairing the actual grout was. They refused payment. I'm certainly happy with how the problem was (finally) handled, my only complaint was that it took a long time to get to this point. Ron and Paul both seem like gentleman who care about their work and the perception of their work by their customers. The visit today was very much appreciated. Based on their approach on the visit today and the conversations we had, I would consider hiring them in the future.

I hired Ron and Paul from Ultrasteam to apply their grout sealant to my Kitchen tile floor in October of 2018. Prepping for the grout sealant, they did an excellent job cleaning the floor and grout. The positive remarks stop there. They did apply the grout sealant which looked great initially. The impression I received was this product was a highly durable non-porous sealant for grout. Within 8 months I noticed the grout "sealant" layer chipping off of the grout, revealing the original grout exposed. Upon contacting Ron and Paul in June of 2019 and providing pictures I was told it was my original grout that was chipping and coming up. This is not the case and is easy to discern why, the color of the sealant is not identical to the original grout, the color of material coming off is the color of the grout sealant. When I brought this to Ron's and Paul's attention they were initially skeptical and even defensive in my questioning of the durability of the product. They were not willing to make a special trip to even look at the problem (at the time it was only a few inches exhibiting the problem), let alone fix it. They said they were willing to "swing by" when they were in the area for another job and would be in touch. I was OK with this at the time. Since then I was given 2 separate times that they offered to come by but neither would work due to previously scheduled obligations. Over the course of the previous 8 months contact by Ron and Paul as diminished, despite regular follow-ups over text message requesting a visit. I continued to provide photos of the issue as it continues to get worse, there is grout sealant chipping all over my kitchen now. The offer to "swing by" when they are in the area for another job feels simply like being blown off at this point, I do not believe they have any intent to look at the problem let alone provide a resolution. The customer service related to this work as been abysmal, it's worth pointing out that the Ultrasteam website touts "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed". Based on how Ron and Paul have communicated with me over the course of this issue I would not hire Ultrasteam to do anything, regardless if the end product is decent. Ultrasteam obviously has consistently great Google reviews, clearly they do well for most people who hire them. This is review has simply been a result of my experience and giving them more than sufficient time to show intent to work this issue out.

Very well. Paul was very quick to reply to texts and calls. He kept me well informed of his arrival time. The carpets look beautiful. There was a problem with one stain and he returned the next day to come up with a solution. Stain gone. Very easy to have in your house. Happy to recommend.

Very satisfied! Professional, friendly and thorough service. I will hire this company when I need my whole house done. I asked for additional treatment on the items I had done, and was told the price would be higher for the treatment, but well worth it!

Superb work, even removed a stain we thought couldn't be removed. Prompt, cooperative, helped me remove some throw rugs. Thorough, doesn't rush through the job. To top it off, he charges less than any competitor that I can recall using in the past. This is our second time with Paul, and he will be our regular carpet cleaner.

Paul was wonderful to work with. He was very responsive any time I called and he was great at confirming the appt the prior day as well as the time he would arrive the day of the appt. He was prompt, courteous and professional. Our carpets look wonderful; the basement had some major spots from the previous owner and Paul was able to get them out. I wish I had taken before/after pics to show the great job. I will use this company again and I will recommend them as well. Thank you!

One time and professional. Took about 8-10 hours for the majority carpets to dry and up to 24 hours for the entire surface that was cleaned to dry. 4 bedrooms (walking traffic only - no furniture was moved), and living room (walking traffic only - no furniture was moved).

Excellent! They were able and willing to fit our complicated project schedule. This is an old carpet but they were able to make it look really good.

I have had my carpets cleaned yearly by Ultra Steam Carpet Cleaning for over the past 6yr.'s. Paul is very thorough! He does an amazing job! I have been very pleased! To top it off he is so very nice!

It went very well. I had an appointment for 1:00pm, but Paul called last night and said he could come at 8:30 if I liked. He was right on time and had the job done in an hour. Great service and great technician.

Paul and Ron arrived as scheduled and did a very nice and thorough job cleaning the carpets.

We have used other carpet cleaning services but none of them got the carpets as clean. They were prompt, friendly, and didn’t try to add additional cost to their quote over the phone. Loved the service and will certainly be calling them again.

Fantastic. Paul cleaned my 7-year-old twin boys’ rooms and play rooms and the carpet looks like the day it was laid. I doubted he would be able to get all the stains out especially from dry erase markers, but he did it. He also got it all done in only about an hour. We have been hiring him for this task for about three years now and I have recommended him to my other family members who are believers now too. Excellent, professional, thorough and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
