Well Steve from Taylor repaired masonary He checked rest of back of house and found crack below upper window and mortar loose He repaired these places also He ado repaired loose mortar on back deck and in front of house we gave small brick wall He repaired that also no extra charge. His final charge was less than he quoted for the extra work needed He is a true craftsman and honest person Kudos to him and his brother/partner

Steve made sure I was available for the estimate to be given to ensure all parts of the project and questions were answered. He quoted a very reasonable price and was ready to start work quickly. Job was completed in less than 3 days and he kept the work areas very clean. I am very happy with the job done. In fact my neighbor even hired him on the spot to do his house as well!

I received a written proposal with two days of Steve's visit to the worksite and the work was started with several days of my approving the proposal. All of the work was done within a week. I couldn't ask for more from a contractor.

Did good work

Steve and his crew did a great job tuckpointing and doing some repair on the chimney. They got rained out but be for they left they made sure that the chimney was covered so the rain couldn't get to the new mortar. It rained for several days and returned to complete the job the morning after the rain ended. The job is great and I would recommend them.

Steve and his team are great. They start on the day they say they will and complete on time and budget. He is a master at matching mortar colors. My 130 year old house was repaired by him and he was able to exactly match all the colors. I’m sure there are cheaper in the world, but I feel confident you will not find a better value than this company.

I thought my brick needed work but Taylor's Tuckpointing said it looked fine and they ended up re-caulking my windows for me instead. Prompt, friendly, and fair price.

After contacted several companies Taylor tuckpoiniting was the only one who responded promptly and followed up. For me personally Charles Marilyn and crew will be the only company I use moving forward for my masonry work. Taylor tuckpoiniting is the Robin hood of masonry. His prices are fair and not over inflated and there craftsmanship is to perfection. The rain caused constant delay but the job was still completed within a reasonable time. This job wasnt rushed because of the delays and looks great. He offers affordable solutions and thr entire team are just regular down to earth people. You cannot go wrong with the teams craftsmanship and Marilyn's eagle eye to ensure you are 100% satisfied.

Steve was responsive, reliable, friendly and affordable. This is the second time I've used him and I would do so again. Other contractors had long wait times, but Steve gave me a quick estimate and did the work as soon as the weather cooperated. (It was winter - no easy feat.)

We were very impressed with Steve Taylor and the work he did. He sent a bid almost immediately and was able to begin work within a week's time. He and his helper worked for 4 days in the heat and did a splendid job. The invoice arrived within days along with before and after photos. I would definitely hire him again.

He wanted to schedule the work soon after the purchase, but I suggested the Monday after Thanksgiving. On that Monday he changed it to the Thursday afternoon. I took off from work on the Thursday but he did not show up. He said he got mixed up and told me to reschedule. Because of the holidays I waited until January to call, and left a message. He did not respond. Called again early in February and agreed on 2/26. He called at 8:30 on the 26th and said he could be there between 10 and 10:30. He arrived around 10:10. He did the work as described opposite and was finished around 12:15. He then said he had gone a little over, even though the deal was for 3 hours work. He also said that he had used about 100lbs of concrete (which I very much doubt) and that the deal only covered 50lbs. He demanded an extra $50. I wrote him a check and he left without another word. I then checked that the deal was actually for 3 hours work, and priced a 50lb bag of concrete at $4.47 at Lowe’s. This contractor cheated me out of $50 while providing nothing more than was in the deal that I had already purchased. I assumed from the fact that Angie’s List was promoting a deal with the contractor that he would be honest and professional.
