Ceramic Tile Service
Scott Goddard, the owner of Goddard Home Interiors, worked with us on designing and installing our custom kitchen backsplash. He was extraordinarily professional and the quality of his work was amazing. We elected to use a combination of very expensive, handmade ceramic and glass tile. The material was irregularly sized and difficult to cut. Scott was aware of the material cost and created virtually no waste. His precision and diligence was evident in the final product. We were not able to use Scott for our entire kitchen remodel because he was not available for hire at that time. I am confident had we used his services for our project, we would not have experienced the problems we did with quality. We plan on using Scott for our bathroom addition and will use him for all projects from this point forward. Scott's pricing is competitive and the quality of work outstanding. He is extremely customer focused and will do anything in his power to make suer you are happy with your experience. I strongly recommend Goddard Home Interiors for all of your remodeling needs.

Insulation
The card he gave me said nothing about insulation. He did a very quick look through in the attic and said that I had enough insulation. I didn't feel he was very thorough or helpful. I feel he was looking to try and do more work than I wanted or needed.

"I'm sorry the member decided to give my company a poor report. I arrived at her home, on time, less than 24 hours after her call. She told me that she had a problem with a drafty home after insulation was installed. She also told me that the problem got worse since she had Some work done on her kitchen stove exhaust hood. We never got to look at that. Instead she had me look at the 10 plus inches of attic insulation. We also looked in her basement and the work there also looked new and professionally done. #1 As far as my card, I specialize in bathroom work. Angie's List clearly lists my website address which clearly states that. That does not mean I cannot diagnose or install insulation. #2 I told this client that I did not want to do any work. The other work looked good and I did NOT feel good removing their work. I told her that I didn't think that work was the problem she insisted it was. All the while I just wanted to look at the kitchen exhaust fan. The homeowner acted like it was my fault the house was drafty and her bill was high. It was very frustrating. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help her. As I left she told me that she would make sure to tell Angie's list all about my company. I told her I didn't think that was fair and felt I was being blackmailed. I told another client and she told me of her other reports, which apparently speak for themselves. Look at those before you decide."

We chose Scott and his staff at Goddard Home Interiors due to their customer focus and collaborative attitude during the estimate process. From the onset they were up front with the project scope and detailed with their assessment process. Most important, though, they showed a professional dedication to completing the project not just accurately and proficiently, but in a manner that adjusted to and consistently met customer expectations. In short, they earned our trust and respect. And they did not let us down. True to their word, the Goddard Home Interior team proved to be very customer focused and quality driven from start to finish. Their friendly attitude and "can do" work ethic proved to be invaluable during the entire process. Whether the project proceeded as planned or hit the inevitable unforeseen challenges, Scott clearly communicated our progress and worked with us to ensure every step met our high standards. From previously agreed upon custom ideas to last minute changes, Goddard Home Interiors completed the many details of our project with great success. Kitchen and Bath Remodeling
Sounded professional and knowledgeable over the phone. Made an appointment for him to come over. Thirty minutes passed the appointment, I called him. He had forgotten the appointment. We rescheduled for later in the day to meet when I'd be home again. He called and left a message at my home number (as I was on the way home) to tell me that he was sorry but couldn't make it. I was frustrated but OK, he had good reviews so I called him the following week to make an appointment. He never called back.

I have to say that Scott and his business partner were on time, on budget, extremely professional, and easy to work with. I gave them an A overall and would recommend them. I found Goddard Home Interior on this website and I am very happy with the overall work and their professionalism. If you need a bathroom re-done or a kitchen remodeled, they are very strong in those areas as well.

It was really good. I had looked at one other company and Goddard Home Interior charged about 1000 dollars less. I had a vision of what I thought the tiling would look like and he really went above and beyond. He had looked at it first and he said he would add a few other decorations just to bring the whole look together.

It went very well. They asked what my expectations were (reset tile). They cleaned the tile of grout, mastic, and paint. Replaced the insulation and green board, then reset and shimmed the tile on Saturday. Monday morning they returned when promised and grouted the tile. Provided me with a sealer and instructions on using it. The cost was less than the verbal estimate. BTW - they examined the tile throughout the tub/shower frame to estimate how much work needed to be performed.

We received a professional quote in a timely fashion. Scott and John showed up when they said they would. They kept me apprised of progress and any problems. We had some issues with lights (and a towel bars and medicine cabinets!) I picked out not fitting into the space. Scott was very helpful with picking up alternates. The shower door exploded while it was being installed, which delayed the completion of the project. They were very good at cleaning up every evening and paid excellent attention to details.
