Galmiche Sons Heating Cooling

My mothers Furnace that was 37 years old and air conditioner 25 years old start having issues trying to keep her home cool. I called Galmiche on June 24, 2024 and spoke to Jeff. He came out to her house and gave us the quote and stated they could install the new furnace and air conditioner on Wednesday June 26,2024. The installers did a FANTASTIC job. They had a very small confined area to work in ( a small closet) to install the furnace. The two gentlemen ( sorry I can’t remember their names) were very pleasant and went right to work without stopping for lunch. Cleaned up and hauled everything away. Thank you so much for the quick service and we love our new furnace that is very quite (located in her bedroom )and for the quiet air conditioner too. And let’s not forget the $1,050.00 rebate for purchasing the two products together Thank you, Sue

The installation and maintenance were poorly done. Connections to vents reduced airflow. The unit was mounted on beams, and when the pan went out of level, it leaked away from the shut-off switch, causing damage to the wood and ceiling underneath. A maintenance visit did not catch these issues, nor was the filter replaced. The door was left off the unit. The whole installation needs to be redone, but Galmiche only wants to do a bit of remediation.

We were so impressed with this company. Not only did they have the lowest price, but we got a great value! I took bids from at least 5 companies and they came in way below on cost. We got high efficiency on all of our new systems and were able to use a rebate to get even more money back. The work was quick, clean and is working beautifully. I called the owner with some questions regarding the new system and he was always willing to talk to me. I have referred them to many friends who have used their services too.

Everything went well. Overall I am happy with the project. Was expecting a call back to find out how the work went from the salesman but never received. The blower in the attic is very loud but works well.

We have used them for several years for like putting Freon in the air conditioner. That sort of things. We are highly pleased with them. They were comfortable with everybody else. It was the original furnace. It was forty something years old. They put a high efficiency one in. It was the same as most everybody else. That was including labor, I believe. It was amazing. They came over, and come back to fix an wiring that was very trivial. They came right away, and they took care of it right away. We have been in that situation several years ago. That is why we use them quite a few times. We knew they would be dependable and fair. They came by and brought all kinds of options, and brought brochures, and sat and took their time to talk to us. They explained everything. It wasn't an quickly, trying to sell you a type of thing. It was well done. I recommended them to family members over the years. They didn't do duct work. They took the entire old furnace and moved it. It was interesting, and put the new on in. Its nicer and quieter.

The technician arrived promptly, was courteous, and had all necessary equipment. He did a thorough inspection and cleaning of the ac unit. He left the work areas in good condition and took the time to explain everything he'd done.

I use them two times annually to come check and tune up my AC and furnace. I have been pleased with the service thus far.

They are coming next week to do our air conditioning service. We have had them for several years. They come out twice a year. We have a service contract with them. We sign it once a year and they don't charge for the maintenance. We really like them a lot. They come when they are suppose to. They are very good.

They are reliable and readily available. If I have an emergency, they will come right out. Their pricing is average and their responsiveness is excellent.
