From the first time I met Dale I knew I was going to use C&D. Great price , met with my insurance company and finished quickly! I was at work when they did the job and my neighbors called me to tell me how impressed they were with everything they did! Would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Everything looks great. A family run business that work hard for you and are honest. Fast and thorough. I’ve referred them to other people and they have all had great experiences as well!

First, I want to express my thanks to Dale and his crew for the ease they made the process. From start to finish I was always aware of how, what, and why something was happening. I also appreciate the honest and straight forward approach. One year ago we had a competing roofing company attempt to rob us of 3-4x the price we paid for our new roof. The process - We met with Dale and his associate early in July. They offered a free inspection of our ten plus year old roof followed by a free estimate in the event it needed repair or replacement. The inspection took approximately 30 - 40 minutes and was very professional. Then we sat down and went over the information in detail. Dale easily answered all my questions and explained how the steps of filing a claim would work out. I contact my insurance company and scheduled an appointment for the adjuster to come inspect the roof. Dale made sure he was available and arrived promptly for the appointment. I appreciated the rapport Dale had with the independent adjuster and how quickly the inspection was completed. After my insurance company approved and completed my claim i contacted Dale and scheduled the appointment to have my shingles replaced. He clearly explained the materials they would use and the payment process. All I needed to do was pick my GAF certified shingle color and decide between types of venting. At no time was I pressured or "up-sold". On 7/31 the materials were arrived at our home and were quickly unloaded. The delivery crew was efficient and left no mess in the drive. The roofing crew contacted me on 8/2 after finishing a scheduled job early and offered to come by and complete my project that same day. An hour later they were here and hard at work. Our new roof looks great and I only found a single roofing nail in our yard over the following weeks. Dale has expressed his thanks and appreciation for the job. The C & D Roofing team have proven to be honest and hard working, and i am happy to see their signs up at our neighbors.

They are awesome. They will jump through hoops to get the project done. They fought my insurance company to get everything settled and the roof looks great. They even followed up with me to make sure everything was okay. They were incredibly professional and cleaned up well.

Horrible experience. I got an insurance settlement due to storm damage. I needed about 22,000 worth of repairs. I contracted C & D roofing to do all the work per the insurance quotes. They wanted half down, half when the job was completed. This seemed fair.  I gave them 12,000 and they came out and did my roof only. I couldn't get in touch with them after that. Phone calls went unanswered and I was consistently told by the secretary that "no one was in the office," and that "someone would call me back." This never happened. The roof was only supposed to cost 6700 per the insurance papers. I contacted the BBB of St. Louis to see if I could get my money back as I was leary of using them again, but that was a dead end. The company's response was: "yes, we have the extra money and would love to finish the job, but will need even more money up front." I wasn't going to get burned again! I didn't take them to court as I'm sure it would be a complete waste of time and any money gained would go straight to lawyers. Instead, I filed a loss on my taxes for the remaining 5000 and found another contractor to piece-meal the work. I personally feel that they had no intentions at all to finish the job and got an extra 5000 for their work.

THE ROOF HAS SEEMED FINE UNTIL A NEW LEAK WAS OBSERVED. I HAVE TRIED TO REACH THEM NUMEROUS TIMES AND BOTH NUMBERS THEY GAVE ME ARE DISCONNECTED. WE ARE DISAPPOINTED IN THIS.
