Jeremy Brooks did an outstanding job managing the project. Although they were busy, he kept us posted frequently on when the work will start. After the work was completed, he followed up by phone and a visit to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. We were extremely satisfied with all the work.

Can't possibly say enough good about JB Exteriors in St. Charles. The only people we will trust with the outside of our house! Used last year for chimney repair and topper and flashing, used this month for repair of our roof! Professional, kind and courteous, GREAT WORK, Fair price, everything good!

JB has been there for me time and again. The owner himself comes out to the house and inspects the project. He couldn’t be nicer, and he always comes up with innovative ways to fix the problem that invariably save me money.

It was excellent. It was very fast, the home owner was thrilled with how quickly the work was done. They are experienced and know what they are doing.

This is the same review I put on BBB site.  We had a lot of storm damage requiring a new roof, repairs to gutters, window frames and screens, patio screens, and some internal ceiling painting.  I got estimates from five contractors, requesting that they submit estimates as if I were paying the bill out of pocket and ignoring any insurance payments.  
A good friend referred JB Exteriors because she was very happy with roof and siding work they had done for her five years ago.
JB Exteriors was the only one who would bid to do all the work. The other companies only did certain parts, and would have required me to engage more than one contractor to get all the work completed.  Jeremy, the Project Manager for JB Exteriors let me know which tasks they would get other contractors for, etc.  I really like doing it this way because I would only need to coordinate through one person throughout the job, regardless of whether it was a roof issue or gutter issue or paint issue.  
In addition to that convenience, Jeremy's bid was the lowest compared to the others, and for higher quality/longer warranty shingles.
They completed all the work as agreed, everything looks great, and it was a real pleasure working with them.  I met most of the guys who came to do work, and each of them was professional, courteous, and nice.
I am very particular and asked a lot of questions.  Jeremy always got back to me quickly, kept me informed on expected work days since we had to deal with a lot of rainy days causing delays.  Any concerns I had, or if I was not completely happy with something, they touched it up or re-did it, etc.  These were not big things, but little things that I suspect most contractors might have waved off.
Jeremy was great to work with.  Throughout the process, the owner, Jamie, was involved and stayed aware of all work done, even though I did not meet him.  
Recently we had a week's worth of non-stop heavy rains, and we got leakage  through the roof at the chimney.  I called Jeremy to ask if this might be related to the new roof.  He sent Chad out the next day to take a look, and even though he confirmed that their flashing and work was solid, and the leak was likely coming from crumbling bricks in the chimney (he took and showed us pictures).  Chad was so concerned about our leak, even though it was not technically their responsibility, he communicated with Jamie, and Jamie sent him back out the next day to tarp the chimney to see if that would stop the leak, thereby protecting the inside of the house, and hopefully identify if the chimney bricks are the actual cause of the leaks.  We felt they went above and beyond what we expected them to do, and are grateful not being as fearful of the next rain until we can get the leak figured out and fixed. 
We highly recommend JB Exteriors and will definitely work with them again for future needs.

I liked it that he worked well with the Hertz corporation, and their business was not effected at all.

5/29/2014: James Berg, the owner, went down a year later and gave me a call back on his work that was done by his crew. He gave me an update saying that the work was in great shape. I really appreciate the extra mile the man went to assure me that my job was performed correctly and still holding up. If the situation comes up that I need more roofing done, he'll be the man I will call.
