Ordered 26 windows in March 2021. Twenty-three of the windows were installed in December of 2021. Most of these were not installed/manufactured correctly. The windows were very hard to open, and the weather strip kept sliding out of position. The final 3 windows were installed in August of 2022 (17 months after they were ordered). The second installer (*****) told me the reason the windows couldn't be opened was that the first installer didn't install the windows correctly. So, fast forward to December 6, 2022, when I met with *****, one of the owners from Omaha, NE. Thought I was really getting somewhere. He inspected the windows and acknowledged the deficiencies. Before he left, he said he would get back to me that afternoon with an offer of compensation for one of the windows that was damaged prior to installation. Still waiting to hear from him. I guess he lost my phone number and email. I'm sure he'll find it when it comes time to send a bill. Overall, my experience with Window World of Springfield, MO has been less than acceptable. Their communication is poor, and they don't follow through with their promises. During a recent winter storm, I was amazed at the volume of air that was blowing through the windows. I sent videos of the issues to the company but got no response. Unfortunately, I've become accustomed to "no response". I would advise everyone to be cautious when dealing with Window World. Their product is questionable, installation is iffy, and customer service is non-existent.

In the first waive we had them replace 4 large windows; this went as scheduled so we ordered 5 more windows. The second set of windows was not made by the same manufacturer and the installers were not the same guys. The second set of installers were not as knowledgeable as the first and they did not wrap the windows properly. They broke one of the old windows when removing it and did not clean up the glass. Also, one window did not fit properly. We called several times and were told they would make it right, after a call to them insisting they come out to fix the wrap/insulation around the windows, they sent out the first installer who had to rework the second set of windows and add the spray insulation that was left off. We still have one window screen that they promised to replace because it was bent when installed.
The quality of the window screens is very poor, I have already had to replace two screens due to them being so flimsy. I understand the owner of this franchise left without warning, but even when we called the Window World headquarters, they did not return our calls.

The man who gave us the bid was very professional and thorough. We were told the order would be in in 6-8 weeks. Well, it wasn't. The shipment got lost and delayed for 3 more weeks. On top of that, we had to pay over 1000.00 extra because the old windows had lead paint and the installers were to wear suits and masks. They didn't, but we still had to pay. I must say the guys that take the order and the installers were great, but the management is horrible. For two weeks we couldn't even talk to anyone in the office that had access to the program to find out when our windows would arrive and be installed. We will not use this company again, nor will I recommend them like I use to.

I used them because of guarantee. They were very thorough and explained very well what the product was and what their long-term guarantee was. Guarantee was probably one of the key factors why I used them. They were not the cheapest, but coupled with their guarantee, it was well worth it. I would definitely use them in the future.

It’s a nationwide company. The person who came to talk to me about the windows was very patient because I ask hundreds of questions when I’m getting something like that done. I appreciated him being so patient and answering my questions thoroughly. He wasn’t pushy either which I appreciated. The drawback of the company was partly because of the coldest and the windiest day of the entire year that year. It wasn’t winter yet, but it had dropped down to below 30 and there were 2 guys who came out to do the installation. I wasn’t most pleased with the installation and the way they cleaned up afterwards. I also think to an extent it was because of the weather. I gave them a little bit of a break because it was so cold. Interestingly, I only had some of my windows done and I don’t like pushy sales people. It’s been 2 years and no one has ever contacted me to know if I’m ready to do the rest of my windows because I had indicated that it was something that I was going to be doing at different times. I would not use them again because I’m going to do some more checking before I just jump in and call them back.
