Stacy was very helpful in helping me to select the right flooring for my new home.  I had short deadline to get the flooring installed before I moved in.  Stacy worked with the installers to get me squeezed into the schedule before the holidays.  I had a different contractor help with removing the flooring, preparing the subfloors, and removing trim because it was cheaper than having the Carpet Shoppe installers do this.  I gave the store the key to my house and the different installers came in over a weeks time.  Someone from the store came out a couple weeks before and measured the areas for the installation.  When Stacy received the measurements she prepared a quote.  The wood was delivered the weekend before the installation began so that it could acclimate.  Installation times:  3 days for the hardwood in living, dining, and upstairs and downstairs hallways. 1.5 days for tile in a small bathroom (1 day to set tile and allow to dry, 1 partial day for grout), and 1 day for carpet installed in 4 rooms.  My floors look great, and the work is quality.  They are a little more expensive, but the quality of the product and installation is well worth it.  A very smooth process and I am pleased overall.  I will call them again when I am ready for my kitchen to be tiled.

They were very good. They were easy to work with. When I went in the store, they weren't concerned with jumping on me when I walked in the store. They asked what I was looking for and they pointed me in the right direction. When I was done looking, I talked to them about pricing and things like that. I liked that about them.

I went in to choose an area rug and had brought in the cushion if a striped chair. Rebecca showed me how to put clothespins on the hanging rugs that I was interested in, so I could quickly find my favorites. When I had narrowed it down to three or four, she pulled them down on the floor, so I could put my cushion on top and step back....so helpful! She gave me some good advice about patterns, colors, and if one overwhelmed the other. She was super helpful! We were allowed to bring home several to see how it would look in our room with our other furniture. This was extremely important, because once they order it...it's yours...no returns. Fortunately, ours worked and we've been very happy with it!

As a part of our first year warranty with the builder we had to have them come back to repair corner cracks in a shower and around a tub. They did a fine job re-grouting the shower, but the color was wrong and a scratch was left on the tub. We had them come out a second time and they re-did the job and the color was still wrong. The manager/sales rep. eventually came to the house to review the colors and he left saying they would call us back once they figured it out. We never heard back.

The Carpet Shoppe experience was excellent.

My experience with them was fine. I went in there and asked them to show me some carpets for my rooms. They showed me and I picked out one carpet that was in stock. The salesperson gave me some details about the rates of different brands and that helped me save some money.

They were prompt, they were on time, they did good work and they were courteous.

The tile and carpet installation was very good. When the wood was installed, the flooring was scratched when the installers moved the refrigerator. The installation supervisor came out, saw the problem and sent the installers back out. Due to the problem being in the middle of the floor; boards had to be cut out and the replacement boards faced nailed down. The overall appearance was not as attractive. In the living room, the sub-floor was not preped completely and there is a ridge that runs the length of the floor.

We had to have them come out and fix some things that were not correct whenever they got done.

Susan DeVore was very helpful in finding a carpet remnant that would work for a good price. She was great to work with.

It went extremely well. I used them six times because we had a basement flood six times before we finally got it fixed. Every time they held the price and tried to help us. I'm going to be using them again shortly.

This service involved carpeting our entire house and adding new flooring to three bathrooms. The salesman (Aaron) was professional and helpful. He listened to my requirements, took time to show me a wide variety of products within those requirements, and offered helpful information. He offered information about which types of carpeting, pad, and flooring would offer the qualities to meet my needs and preferences, and he was willing to show me samples in various price ranges. He set up an appointment for measurements, then prepared a thorough estimate. He included needed services I hadn't even thought of (contacting a professional clock service to move, service, and reset a grandfather clock, removing and resetting toilets, etc.). I didn't have to try to schedule all these services myself, and each of these providers arrived on time and were well qualified. The carpet installers provided excellent service, arriving on time, working quickly but carefully, and checking with us on any questions they had. They moved and replaced all our furniture and were very agreeable about moving a couple of items a second time when needed. With the larger pieces of furniture, I added a small piece of masking tape to the wall on either side of the item, helping them to remember where those pieces needed to be placed. There was follow-up from the Carpet Shoppe to be sure we were happy with the sale, the product, and the service. The entire project had been completed before I even received an estimate from one of their competitors. Although I have used the Carpet Shoppe in the past, I checked with other carpet businesses to compare their product and services. In my opinion there is absolutely no comparison. The Carpet Shoppe is far and away the best provider in Springfield and is the only place I would consider using in the future. I cannot say enough good things about this business and would highly recommend them to others
