Description of Work: Not cheapest, clearly the best in Springfield, MO. AAA gives Rick's highest rating and many awards. Rick's will do some things free - such as fill your tires with nitrogen for you-if you are a regular. Best transportation to/from home/work - often one individual only - no wait.

Description of Work: I really like Rick's! I had done work done, but another place said I was due soon for tires (they of course sold them), but Ricks gave me a fair and unbiased assessment and said they still had some wear and to reevaluate in a year.

Description of Work: They are currently servicing my 2007 car.My criticism is ongoing; ever since my car was first serviced at this business,it has had an oil leak. Their efforts have not corrected the problem and my garage floor is a mess and I am not allowed to park in my daughter's driveway!

Description of Work: Oil change, turn brake rotors, rotate & balance tires. All done on time and per estimate. I have used Rick's for most of my work since my vehicles have been out of warranty - highly recommended! They also give a discount to AAA members.

Description of Work: I bought 2 new tires(Michelin MXM4) to replace poor quality tires that came with a purchased used vehicle. Helpful personnel, reasonable price, and overall good service. My only complaint is that they put the new tires on the front, instead of the rear, which can create a problem in wet weather. But I admit I didn't tell them to put them on the rear. Wherever you buy tires, do your homework first with some online research.

Description of Work: I needed a routine service check as well as Safety Inspection for renewal of license. I scheduled the services for different dates - they suggested I get it all done at one time, saving some money. I've used Rick's ever since I moved to Springfield, 7 years ago. My son-in-law recommended them when I needed work done on my car. My husband is handicapped and they came and got the car and then delivered it back to us. They are always so helpful, courteous, and professional. We are proud to tell others that Rick's takes care of all your vehicle needs. Now that they have remodeled - we really enjoy a cup of coffee and watch large screen TV.

 + -1 moreThey provided me with a loaner car for 3 days. After it was determined that body work was needed beyond the radiator work (which they could do), the insurance company chose to tow it to a body shop. Rick's would accept NO money for the loaner car, and sent me a post card offering a discount for future business. I have worked with them in the past and they are honest, courteous, and go above and beyond what any other company would do. I will definitely continue to use them as my provider of choice and recommend them to friends and family.
Description of Work: This company worked with my insurance company after an auto accident and I had the car towed to their establishment. They looked at my car and determined what was going to be needed in the way of radiator parts, etc.

 + -1 moreArived a few minutes prior to my appointment and didn't wait but about 10 minutes for my car to be pulled into the shop. Within about 45 mins my car was completely done. The staff was very friendly and even went the extra mile to offer the use of the employee break room so my 5 yr old son could watch tv and not be bored. Have already spread the word and will go here for all my future car care needs. They get very busy so making an appointment is best if possible.
Description of Work: Had tires delivered to Ricks from an online dealer and mounted on my car.

 + -1 moreThey are very friendly, well trained, and professional. Sometimes they're booked up and it may take a couple of days to get your vehicle scheduled. They use a computer searches to look at new problems for your make and model. I've had other work done on different vehicles and have been very satisfied with their work. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: They checked the tires and determined one had a belt separation but did not need to be replaced immediately. They fixed a tortion bar that had worn out bushings in the suspension. They also looked for the problem in an intermittent loss of oil pressure and determined it was a faulty sensor, which they gave an estimated cost for replacement. We elected to replace it at a later date.
