We've made no progress. All we keep getting with each call or letter is "we're working on it, but we need more time and money". We're leery of them, we feel like it might be a poor decision to invest any more into them, but if we back out we will have lost the money we've spent up until now.

Still pending since 12/30/2015. We went to a seminar held in our city. Before signing with them we explained that our our timeshare was for every other year (odd yr)., They assured us this was not a problem. We paid our 2016 maintenance fees and paid Relief to get us out of the timeshare. We received paperwork from Sumday Vacations to list our timeshare for sale in January 2016; returning all the paperwork and $900 for trying to sell the timeshare. We received a letter in March that Sumday could not "market" our biennal timeshare. Relief Solutions initiated legal action to terminate our timeshare in April, 2016 through their attorney. We did get the $900 back from Sumday. It is now August and we still own the timeshare. I get a call once a month from Relief saying the legal department is in contact with our timeshare and it will take time. Our compliant is 2017 maintenance fees will be due soon. We have not been called or received any correspondence from the "legal department" of Relief Solutions only the customer service department. Their sales pitch is they are the ONLY company that can get owners out of their timeshares in 180 days and certain resorts (ours is not one of them) in 6 months. It has been 8 months and 3,463.00 and still have the timeshare.

My husband received a phone call from Relief Solutions asking if we were interested in getting out of our time share permanently (the deeds would be transferred to a new owner(s) and we would have no more monthly maintenance fees).  We were interested after our estate planning attorney suggested we get rid of the time shares (as the maintenance fees will only keep going up and our beneficiaries would not want to take on the burden of them).
We owned two separate Wyndham Vacation Resorts time shares (one 120,000 points and the second 556,000 points).  We had explored selling them back to Wyndham and were told they did offer a buy back program called Pathways but it required us to make an additional purchase of approximately $15,000 and then hold it as well as the two we already owned for five (5) more years. At that time they would purchase back any and all of of our points for an approximate 20% of our purchase price(s). Of course the salesperson could not or would not commit to the specifics without proceeding forward to the additional purchase.  It would have cost us the $15,000 plus approximately $20,000 in monthly maintenance fees for a total of at least $35,000 for the five year period. At the end we could expect to sell back for approximately $25,000.  Of course, we were concerned when the five years passed they would tell us something different.
Over the phone Relief Solutions asked us about our ownership status (i.e., we owned and had no loans, mortgages, liens or outstanding assessments and were up to date with maintenance fees).  They reassured us that they were confident they could successfully transfer our deeds and thus get us out of our time shares permanently.  They scheduled us to attend an upcoming seminar in our area within the next few weeks.  In the interim they emailed us some preliminary information, forms to complete and a list of items to compile and bring to the seminar.
We attended the seminar where they reviewed the pitfalls of owning timeshares. It was eye opening.  They explained how they go about transferring the deed(s).
After this group presentation my husband and I met with a counselor.  She reviewed our documents, and explained the timeline and steps that would occur.  It was anticipated to take approximately 90 days before the transfer would occur and we needed to stay current with the maintenance fees.  As it was the end of June we were hoping for an October transfer date.  We paid the fee ($3,500 for each of the two time share deeds) and received a 100% guarantee in writing.  The counselor explained that Wyndham tim e shares were somewhat desirable by their potential clients and they most likely had a purchaser already lined up.
There was some additional paper work that was mailed to us.  Some required notarized signatures.
As it turned out we were told that since we had used all our points for calendar year 2014 the transfers most likely would not occur until after the first of the year.  We either misunderstood or were told incorrect information at the seminar as we were under the impression that we should use all our points for 2014 and we did.
In December we received two separate letters (one for each of the two deeds) from Wyndham that the transfer of ownership for our time shares was complete.
Although it cost us $7,000 to successfully transfer our time share deeds we are saving $4,142.22 in maintenance fees for 2015 alone and much, much more in the years to come.  And we are relieved that our beneficiaries will not inherit life ever lasting fees for something they did not want.  On the flip side we would have paid Wyndham at least $10,000 and had use of the timeshare points for an additional five years but we were concerned that Wyndham would find a way(s) to reduce what they would buy back the deeds for.

Working with them now. So far so good. Will update after experience is over.
As of today ,Oct 7th, 2014 I am still working with them. I do feel comfortable so far with their service. It is a process that takes time and is on going. Someone is always available as soon as you contact them. I will let you know more when the process is done.
I checked bad for price because I think it is expensive, but know of no other way to dispose of Timeshare, and I don't want my kids to have to inherite it. More later.

I think they were honest. They gave me 100% guarantee and they told me they were on Angie's List.
