We are building a shop/barn that will have a bathroom. We thought we would do the rough-in plumbing before the concrete floor was poured (so we had already purchased some of the necessary supplies), but decided we should hire a professional so we could be sure the job would pass inspection. Based on word-of-mouth recommendations, Robert Messenger is who we called to help us.
Robert (Robie) was able to get to us in a few days after I called him to do the work. The project involved putting the drain pipes in place for a toilet, shower, and sink, and then connecting them together to drain to where the septic tank will be, also including the vent pipe and clean-out pipe; this required setting the pipes in place in the crushed stone that would be under the concrete floor when it got poured. The larger crushed stone was already in place, so some shoveling had to be done (in the sun and heat). The work was done neatly and efficiently and it all looked nice and tidy for the inspector when he came the next morning to give approval for the concrete to be poured.
Robie worked with a pleasant attitude and provided information about the processes and materials for new-construction plumbing. He makes good use of technology for communication and follow-up.

Mr. Messenger arrived on time.  He evaluated the existing pipes and explained to me what he thought we needed to do.  Immediately he began to do the work, removing old pipes and drain.  Then he made some changes to the area of work and installed a new drain and move the water lines for the shower.  He installed all the required hardware for the Moen shower mix valve and shower head.  He cleaned up the area and explained what the contractor would need to do to begin tiling the shower.  Very professional and courteous.  He knows his job and is up to date on the latest materials to use.

Mr. Messenger arrived on time and went to work quickly.  He answered any of our questions directly and to the point.  He drained the old heater, disconnected it and hauled it out of the house.  He positioned the new heater, cut some old water lines and installed new ones with the latest pipe and fittings, very nice work!  He cleaned up everything and was finished in about an hour or so.  I was very impressed with his work and attitude.  It was refreshing to see such professionalism!

robert showed up when he said he would, he made  sure everything worked prop[erly, including a new connection.  he was kind courteous and we will use him next time we need a plumber.
