Penny's Cleaning, LLC is focused on providing a high-quality residential house cleaning service to Springfield, Republic, Nixa and Ozark Missouri. We are happy to offer regular maintenance cleanings on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis; cleanings for special occasions and holidays, seasonal "deep" cleaning, move-in/out cleanings, and rental property cleaning. Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. They always arrive within the given time frame and get right to work on cleaning. If I have any changes or special requests they always take care of them, I have a large home and often rotate the rooms I want cleaned. They work very efficiently. In the past there have been cleaners that I have ask to specifically do an area each time, but was often missed or just not done, but Penny's team gets it done EVERY time!!
They don't use heavily scented cleaners, yet the house just looks and smells clean when I enter the house.

"It is our goal at Penny's Cleaning to provide a friendly and professional service that leaves our customer fully satisfied. For that reason, we are very disappointed to see this review. It is our policy during initial cleaning for new clients to charge at an hourly rate. It has been our experience that this works best to meet the varying conditions of our client's homes. Our cleaning appointments are set up to fit both our company schedule and the client's agreed upon budget for the job. Depending on the condition of the home, often some things must remain unfinished until a subsequent cleaning. It is our belief that the majority of the issues in this review are a result of this policy. Our teams are well-trained professionals, however, they are human and occasionally miss things. We are more than willing to accept responsibility for these occasions and make amends to assure a happy customer. It became quite obvious that an amenable solution was not going to be reached with this particular client, and we agree that our association with this client needed to come to an end. To address some specifics, our charge per hour was agreed upon beforehand and is the regular rate for all of our clients. As this job was on a per-hour basis, anything that was "not touched" was not charged for and our agreement was not broken. Our clients are given a copy of our company policies to help them to understand our service and ensure a positive outcome. It is our policy not to move stationary furniture unless specifically requested and agreed upon in advance. Therefore, baseboards behind dressers and/or other heavy furniture would not have been dusted under normal company policy. Normal company policy also allows time to dust individual items on shelves/furniture that are evenly spaced and uncluttered. We simply cannot take the time, nor would our average client be willing to pay for the time, needed to dust and/or wash large amounts of items piled atop furniture or excessive "knick knacks". It is common in houses that go uncleaned for long periods of time to find that thick layers of dust are stuck to light fixtures, air vents, blinds etc. Due to grease, smoke, hairspray and many other adhering substances, many times a normal dusting procedure does not work. In these cases, the items must be taken down and washed individually. We often agree to tackle these special jobs as agreed upon, either in a separate cleaning or a little at a time as the client wishes, but they would not be completed during initial cleanings under normal company policy. Also, we do consider brown recluse spiders to be a physical threat as we would an aggressive dog or biological hazards often found in unkempt homes. When, as was the case in this instance, there are multiple brown recluse spiders in any one area, we fully stand behind our crew leader's decision to avoid the area."
