They had the best available unit. The service representative found ways to get me about $900.00 in tax credits as well. They did a good job. The installation was excellent and they were right on time with everything.

My home A/C coil froze up in March of 2012. Since it is a Lennox Heat Pump/air handler unit, I engaged Premier Lennox dealer Ozark York to repair it. The coolant level was low, which seemed to be the cause of the freeze up and they charged $294.00 to add coolant, a dye pack, and check the system. After that, the system was operating but not cooling effectively. I made it clear to the people I spoke with that the unit just wasn't producing air cool enough to be effective. They returned in May to follow up on the leak, and tightened some valves and checked the system again, stating it was 'cooling' and charged me an additional $170 for that trip.
However, the system still wasn't producing air cool enough to effectively cool the home. Since their technicians couldn't find anything else wrong with the system on either trip, I spoke with both Dennis and Robert about how the system was installed, and if it was large enough to cool my home. My utility bill for the June billing period was over $300, and the system was using more 3400 kilowatt hours during that time. I knew it couldn't be operating correctly because I work at the local utility company and I knew how much a newer home should be using. Robert came out about July 23rd to check the overall install of the system, stated that he took off the panels of the air handler and couldn't identify anything wrong with the system, but said they could have a technician come out a 3rd time to look at it again.
I felt at this time I wanted a second opinion, so I engaged with H-vac and their tech came out and after describing the problem of the a/c unit not producing air cool enough, the first thing he did was measure the temperatures of the return air and the supply air and confirm that the unit wasn't operating nearly as well as it should. Inside of 10 minutes using no more than a thermometer and a voltmeter, the H-vac tech identified a problem that dated back to the original install of the unit that Ozark york couldn't find in 3 different trips. The unit was heating and cooling at the same time, which is what was causing the problem. A pretty obvious problem and significant in both the comfort of the home and the amount energy being used. H-vac charged $130 dollars to repair the actual problem with the unit.
I felt Ozark york's people were friendly and were able to fix a basic leak problem competently, but to claim to be a lennox premier dealer and miss a very obvious problem with the wiring of the air handler unit demonstrated that they did not have effective knowledge of the lennox product line or the install of these units. Had they listened to me (the customer) with my explanation of using a digital thermometer to measure the air temps, and checked the same thing themselves they may have been able to solve the problem. So they also failed in the most basic of service requirements; responding to the customer's needs and information.

I think they are honest. I have never had a complaint. Everything was fixed right, repaired or replaced right. I would continue to use them in the future.

I was happy with their work. I had four different contractors out and everyone told me they couldn?t put in the high efficiency unit in because of the design of the house. They were the only one who took the time to look at everything and say they could do it! I was very pleased with them and they really took the time. Their prices were right in the middle of all the bids I received.

They did a great job. The work was excellent. They came in and actually ripped through the whole system, understood it and took care of any issues I had at that time and issues that I might have in the future. They took care of everything. Their price was in line with the others. In fact, I would say that they actually ended up being less expensive than the others because I will not need to call anybody back again. They did a fabulous job. When they were done, the system on which they worked was immaculate. It not only looked like they put new things in but it was all cleaned up. They came out and gave me a quote but the job took a lot of scheduling. Being a good business, I am sure that they had a lot of work to take care of. They were here when they said they were going to be here and they finished the job when they said they would finish it. I will use this company in the future. I was using another company which was working on the same issues for about 18 to 20 months and did not do the job that Ozark York Air Conditioning & Heating did. I would recommend them to people who need to get similar work done. I was very happy with the work they did.

They were extremely expensive. They quoted me $9000 for an air conditioner and a furnace. It didn?t make any sense paying them a lot of money just to get the rebate. As far as the efficiency was concerned, I didn?t think it was worth it. However, I thought the company was very good and very knowledgeable. They did a great job. I am not sure if I will consider them again in the future.

I shopped around and chose Ozark York because they had a very good product, and they weren't the cheapest or the most expensive. I also felt comfortable with the estimator. The job was delayed some - I signed the contract in November and they didn't get to it until January, but it was worth the wait. The job took two days, I was never without heat, and they added the extra vent for no additional cost! My utility bills went down fast after that!
