MEINEKE CAR CARE CTR

My wife and I took our 2009 Infiniti G37x into this shop for a simple state inspection. We dropped the car off at lunch and were going to pick it up after work. We did not give any grief about having to wait for the car, we just dropped it off and left. We picked it up and took it home. No issues. That is, until my wife gets in the car and notices that grease has been smeared all over the upholstery of the sun roof. I have a photo if you need any further evidence. It is not even near the handle area to move the cover back and open the sunroof. It is in the middle. It was clearly done intentionally. I called this location and spoke with the manager. I asked if there was any part of the inspection process that entailed the sunroof. He said no. I asked why there would be grease smeared on the upholstery. He said he did not know but he would 'have to take my word for it.' He offered no explanation and no apology. He could not have been more disinterested or indifferent. This is outrageous, not only because the damage done to MY vehicle appears to be permanent, though not debilitating, and because this company hires employees with no morals and an apparent malice for other people's property. I called the manager of this store and he offered no suggestions and no remorse. It is as I told the manager of this store...I am simply making people aware that your employees are doing wrong. I contacted their corporation in hopes that that response will have at least a modicum of shame, but given how this has been handled to date, it is clear that this company has none.



A complaint was filed and closed by the BBB.

I got a second opinion from a different shop and they told me I didnt need wheel hubs....????
So end of story ....I never went back there! I believe that because I am a woman ...they saw me coming..so to speak!
