The work was all completed for an amount $500 below the other two bids. But the other two bidders weren't sure they could convert our gas fireplace, saying a kit was not available; suggesting it would have to be replaced for another $1500. The McShane's overhauled the burner and valve themselves since a kit was not available, and it works perfectly. They did it for the cost of a service call, $75. So the McShane's saved me a huge amount of money, probably around $2000. You can bet I'm real happy with them!!
