When I went to pick up the ring, the diamonds clearly were not the original ones. When I pointed out one of the diamonds did not match the others (because it was black), the jeweler admitted himself that he had replaced the diamonds. The setting that he took the original diamonds out of, which I still have, is proof that the diamonds in the new setting are different. The appraisal to the original ring did not match the appraisal for the diamonds he gave me. I confronted him about it and he said that he was unaware of the first appraisal but refused to do anything about it. We contacted the Better Business bureau for Springfield and they said there was nothing they could do since they had already dropped that jeweler due to too many complaints. Bottom line: this man is a thief. I would not recommend him to anyone.
