I turned in a content inventory at the end of July. I filled out a report, item by item, of everything that was damaged. The claims supervisor sent the report to a separate company in California, CERA, and they agreed with about 90% of the values that I had put down. The investigator we were assigned has done nothing other than make copies of paperwork. She has not started any type of investigation. No one is reading the information. I have spoken to the Insurance Commissioner for Arkansas and he has done nothing about it. They are not looking at the obvious information. I have provided letters with exhibits that prove they have not issued a draft for our contents. They closed our claim after three months, before we were even back in our house. We had to deal with the claims supervisor at Cameron directly and he is lying and being unethical. I contacted Gary Myers, the president of Cameron Mutual, reporting that the supervisor is being dishonest and unethical. Mr. Myers did nothing but refer me back to Dean Carpenter. They owe us a minimum of $22,000.00. Between August, when we submitted the claim, and October, they began harassing us by sending out a representative from their company. He would say that he was there to make sure all the repairs were completed. We then received a letter from the underwriting department where they wanted us to move our outdoor wood-burning furnace, or they would not renew our policy. We had been insured with them since 2009 and it was always in the same location. They are wanting us to move it 22". We had the president of the company that installed the furnace call the underwriting to explain that where it was installed was appropriate and if was moved, it would become ineffective.
