Budget Automotive and Radiator is a locally owned and operated company. Paul and Wendy Taylor are a husband and wife team and we have been in business in Springfield since 1993. We service the complete automobile from oil changes to engines, tune-ups to clutches, brakes and front ends, computer diagnostics and repairs. We also repair, recondition, or replace radiators, heater cores and gas tanks. We specialize in cooling system repairs, no heat problems and we are the ONLY shop in Springfield that does a true POWER FLUSH on cooling systems. It is a chemical free high pressure air and water reverse cooling system flush. Along with our 89 point heating and cooling system tests, it is the most thorough service you will find. We offer discounts to veterans, first responders, senior citizens, and teachers. The thing that separates us from the other shops is that we believe in giving our customers options. You let your BUDGET decide what work you have done to YOUR car. We will list needed repairs in a priority order, advise you of any preventative maintenance we see may be needed, and you are the boss when it comes to what repairs we perform. Above all, we are honest, fair, and friendly. We believe in treating people like family.

Windy, Paul and Tim kept me updated with the job all the way.
I had tried two other shops and both of them made matters worse, so when I found that Budget Automotive and Raditor liked to work on the oldies, I have my car hauled right over there. They were so careful. They gave my car two parking spots in their shop so there was no danger of it getting damaged accidently.
I also got a very nice letter thanking me for having my vehicle service at their shop hoping I would call on them again. That was funny because the hood flew up because I didn't get it fastened properly and the car is back over there waiting for the new hood hinges--another parts nightmare!
I am going to have my 2012 Dodge Grand Carvan service there in the future.
You will not be disappointed with this shop. It is not in a fancy, glitsy building but what's inside is precious.
