Upholstering
We did not get estimates from other stores because my wife didn't want to be bothered. The job, overall, seemed to go kind of slow. When it came time for the couch to be returned to us, there were problems. One man of a 2-man crew did not show up. So the couch was delivered by one man, using a hand-truck. I am 65 years old and I was forced to help the delivery man get the couch up the front steps of our house and through the front door and a few steps into the house before I had to give up and let him scoot it on the floor the rest of the way. Came close to injuring my back. Also, the lone delivery man managed to get part of the couch wet (It had snowed the night before.) So it was about a 5-hour wait, for a dry-out period, before we could use the couch -- after I had gone at it with a hair dryer for about 10 minutes.
