The provider responded to an emergency service request on a Friday evening and showed up within 45 minutes.  He quickly diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repairs.  He was very courteous, professional, and a nice guy to boot.  Plus, he charged us a surprisingly low rate for the service.  I've shared his name and number with all my relatives in the Springfield area.  I cant say enough great things about my experience with this company.

They had a big job they were working on, but worked my daughter in.  Very nice.  Two guys showed up and had the problem resolved in no time.  Definitly will use again.

They had to work for half a day just to locate the problem. The owner wasn't going to make any charge for their time, but upon my insistence agreed to take $40.00 for his helper. They returned after I got a carpenter to do some work so that they could do their job. They were very prompt and courteous.

The job was completed quickly and professionally. In addition they checked another electrical issue for me. I will have no problem using them again.

They took the fan down, fixed it, and it is working great. They were on time and very professional.

Called to schedule when he said he would, showed up on time, very personable and polite.  Performed 3 small jobs for us, took care of all my problems.  We liked him and would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I called on a Wed. and he came at MY requested time on Fri. Very quick response for non-emergency call. He and his helper worked quite quickly -not rushing to leave- just very efficiently. I asked if they could remove  a ceiling fan and replace with a light fixture that I bought. No problem; it was switched out in a matter of minutes. 
I chose #1 Choice based on 27 A ratings on Angie's List. I am number 28 with an A rating. This is now my Electrician for all future needs. Not only are they responsive, very reasonably priced and qualified, they have insurance and licencing.

A bulb broke in a cam light.   I could not get it out and it is a very
tall ceiling.  Even though this was such a minor job, Jeff made it a
priority and was at my door within the hour, driving all the way from
Springfield, to Ash Grove.  He even apologized for charging me a service
call.  A++ in my book.

After having a bad experience with a previous company, I checked with Angie's list and found #1 Choice Electric with many positive reviews. Called in for an appointment and Jeff got me in quickly. He even called me before he came out to be sure he had the correct color of switch (something I had not even thought about-but glad he did!) to match the others in the house. Jeff was on time and we went through each item one at a time until my list was complete. He took time to explain why some of the problems existed- which made me feel confident in his knowledge.
I will definitely recommend him to anyone in need of good electrician work!

I called #1 Choice Electric on Monday and explained my non-emergency problem to Jeff. He arrived Wednesday morning and promptly fixed the problem. He was courteous, professional and and friendly. It was a pleasure to have him do the work for us. I would definitely use this company again.

We had our house professionally inspected before we bought it. The inspector pointed out several things that needed to be repaired. Some (like installing smoke detectors and a new battery in the doorbell) we could do ourselves. For the two electrical things we needed, after consulting Angie's List, I contacted #1 Choice Electric. The contractor himself answered the phone. I explained my problem and that it wasn't an emergency. He estimated it would cost less than $100. He came out with a helper, they went under the house and installed the junction box and then repaired the outlet outside. It didn't take long and it cost $95, well within the estimate.They were prompt, professional and courteous. I definitely will call them again should we need any electrical work performed, and would recommend them to others.

I called on Tuesday the 13th and arranged for someone to come on Thursday morning to give an estimate.  Jeff arrived on time on Thursday and listened so that he understood exactly what I wanted/needed and gave me a fair bid. He said he could start work on Monday morning.  The other contractors I contacted for bids never called me back to I gave the job to Jeff.
On Monday the 20th Jeff and a helper arrived shortly aftetr 8am as agreed and went right to work. By 1:00 they were finished.  The job looks neat and professional. Since it did not take as long as he originally thought he charged less that the original estimate.
Very happy with the job and Jeff and his helper were very nice and interesting to talk to.

Excellent. I appreciated his willingness to do a "small job". It is hard to find an electrician who wants to "mess" with these, but he was happy to do it as long as I could work with him on his schedule as to when he would be in my area, and with the price of fuel, I certainly could understand and work with him on that. I believe it saved me the cost of an individual service call since he was already just up the street at another customer.

The serviceman was right on time, very friendly and courteous.  We told him the switch was hot when turned on.  He found the problem immediately.  We had a faulty switch box and a wire had come loose.  He put in a new one and waited for about 15 min. to make sure the new one was working properly.  He also made sure all the wiring was properly connected to the other switches attached to the same grouping.  We will definitely use this company again.

Jeff was very responsive and professional. This was a small job, and I had had trouble getting other companies to respond to a request for a quote, but Jeff was more than willing. Jeff described the most cost-effective options available. He then worked with tenants to schedule the work. I was very happy with the whole process and the work that was done.

Jeff Small is the owner. We are very happy with him. I called him to schedule and he confirmed. He came right on time. The job took less time than he had anticipated. He was very quick. His communication was good and just what we needed. It was really quite good all the way round.

He was right one time on the day he said. His estimate was right on. He cleaned up after himself and was very polite. I am calling him again for another project. Great price too!
