I dropped the car off around noon on Saturday, and no less than 24 hours later, Ken called and said the job was finished! I had previously dropped by for an estimate and to look at the upholstery samples he provided. I asked him to make the upholstery selection, keeping in mind that I drive the van mostly to cart my dogs around town. In other words, I asked him to choose a darker, rather than lighter fabric! He called on Saturday and asked if he could reuse the vinyl inserts in the existing seats, as they were undamaged and it would save me some money. Of course, I said yes! I just picked up my car, and he did a fabulous job! The seams are flawless, and the existing vinyl around the base of the seats looked great! In the end, the entire job cost me $100 less than the estimate! I would highly recommend Ken for any re-upholstery job. He also recovers boat seats and makes cockpit covers.
