He promised a lot of things that he never did. When we got the bill, it was a third MORE than we talked about. When we asked him about it, he pointed out things that he did that were not included in the bid. I pointed out that the things that were promised in the bid were not done, but he would avoid my questions and make excuses.  He said he did things the way he thought he should do them, but I said he should have talked to me about that and should have told me when the price was getting higher than we discussed. I paid him what was originally discussed, not what he was asking for.  He was a nice guy and a smoothe talker, but he didn't follow through with anything.
