They took the time to explain options and cost with each. They were on time and did a great job. It was pointed out by the installer when some of the trim was not a good match with the stain around the windows and it went back to the shop for a redo! The installer took the time to point out how to fold the windows in for cleaning. We were very satisfied with the product and the value we paid.

Shelton siding responded promptly to a quote and came out quickly to give an estimate. A composite material was chosen for the back door landing to minimize upkeep and give a nice appearance. The representative brought along samples which made it easier to choose materials and colors for the decking and railings. As the garage landing was going to be inside and ascetics were not a concern, simple plywood construction was chosen for that location. The bulk of the cost was for the composite decking material for the backdoor landing and was surprisingly expensive for such a small area. Once the initial payment was received, Shelton quickly set up a time to build the landings which took only 2 days to construct. The completed projects look great and really make it much easier to get in and out of the house!

We realize that the maintenance free composite material is expensive, however the fact that it is backed by a 25 year warranty helps offset the cost of the material. It has been our experience that most all-wood deck flooring and railing are in need of replacement between 10-15 years after construction. It was a pleasure working with you and look forward to doing business with you in the future."

The gutter covers did not seem to work right at first but Ron and Jeff kept working at finding a solution to the problem, and in time they did find the right solution. The gutters and covers are working properly now. The second job went smoothly. The demolition went quickly, and the crew worked diligently to complete the decks as soon as they could, even working some days in inclement weather. Jeff and his assistants are experienced, hard working, good at finding solutions to problems, and neat and respectful of the surrounding property. After the decks were built they made repairs to three doors that go out to the decks. I'm very pleased with and proud of my new "no maintenance" decks and railings.

I know spring is right around the corner and if u r thinking about a new deck or replacing your old one Shelton Siding does a super job. We had our deck replaced last fall and Shelton did an excellent job. Always on time, kept us informed of what was going on and continued to work on our deck until the job was complete. I know they stand behind their products. At our previous home windows and doors were replaced by Shelton bf we bought the home. After we moved in a handle on our sliding door broke and I called Shelton to order another one. When I went to pick it up and asked what I owed they said nothing it was covered. I know the windows and doors had been installed at least 5 years earlier. That is what I consider standing behind your products. When we decided to replace our deck we knew who we wanted to give us a bid. We choose Shelton and it was the right decision. Our deck is beautiful.

The Shelton Siding crew did absolutely fantastic. Ron himself was there doing some of the work. All the workers were very friendly and curious. The work done was very nice and we absolutely love how it all came out. There were there when they said they would be and finished on schedule. I cannot say enough nice things about them.

It went very good took about a month to complete the job but we did have rain days in there. This company has been around for years and are very well known and trusted. They installed siding and windows on another house of ours about 15 years ago and we have never had any problems or issues with their workmanship or products. I highly recommend this company if you are needing anything done. Ron is very quick to respond if you have questions or concerns and I love that. Very professional and easy to work with. I will definitely use them for any and all jobs we have in our future!!!

The crew from Sheldon Siding did an outstanding job with my deck extension. They were able to complete the job ahead of the original date, were prompt every morning, and even worked late to try to get the project completed. I made some changes on the first day by increasing the size, and Ron and his crew were very receptive to modifying the original plan and got the additional supplies needed. The workmanship and attention to detail was excellent, better than any deck I've had before. Ron, the owner, was on site multiple times each day. I would not hesitate to use them on any future projects.

We were delighted with the great service from Shelton Siding. We had a seal on a garden tub window break. We thought replacement would be expensive as this was a large window. Ron investigated and found that the manufacturer still had stock (the window was over 10 years old) and only would charge the installation fee rather than the cost of an entire new window and frame. The installer, Jeff, was courteous, thoughtful, meticulous, skilled, and persistent as the old window was difficult to removed. As if turned out, Ron's research with the manufacturer turned this from an expensive job to a minor maintenance issue. We would highly recommend this company.

This was one of the best contractor experiences I have had in my life. All work was performed on time and exceeded all expectations. They ordered and installed doors, windows, siding, soffits, and gutters. Now working on a deck and pergola. This was an older home so they also reframed openings and replaced wood wherever it was necessary. Excellent work and very professional!

Windows were late in arriving. Were defective when installed. Upgraded replacements were ordered with discount promised. Replacements were still defective. No warranties or promised discounts were put in writing. Energy tax credit deadline missed. Has been 12 months since initial order. Job still not complete.

"I did finally find this person in our customer list, after further research this person is unhappy with our company due to problems out of our control. This customer ordered custom painted custom color windows, at that time the factory paint process just came out. The factory had problems with the paint protection process to protect the paint during delivery. It failed and the windows needed to be remade, it did take forever but was out of our control. The installation of the windows was not an issue which was our part, I did make several calls to the factory. The customer did get a discount from the factory for the inconvenience. I hope this issue can be resolved as I would like to look at your services in the future. We have an a plus rating with the bbb if that matters. I was not aware of household memberships and would like to have the customers comment removed."
