Heating and Air Conditioning Service
I look for the good in everyone and try to be understanding when services don't go as planned, but our experience with this business was deplorable. Our refrigerator/freezer was working intermittently, and they said the problem was a bad compressor. We opted to replace the compressor for about $600, rather than buy a new fridge. They took the refrigerator to their shop to do the replacement and bent our doorframe while getting the fridge out so our sliding screen door no longer worked. When they returned with the refrigerator, the fridge was skewed to one side and one door was higher than the other. The fridge doors also didn't open/close correctly. I called to see if they could fix these problems and they came back and fixed both problems, restoring about 80% functionality to our sliding screen door and 90% to the fridge doors (still a little uneven). I could live with all of that.
However, we quickly realized that the refrigerator had the same problem as before their repair. I called to let them know and ask if they could figure out why it still wasn't working, or at least refund my money and they didn't return my call. I called MANY times over the next few weeks, and always got voicemail or it just kept ringing. I finally physically went to their place of business about 2 months after the repair and explained what was going on and asked when they could take care of it. I was very polite. They angrily told me that "your card is on the wall, we'll get to you when we have time!! The owner is sick!". I have no idea what that meant, but was satisfied that they'd call soon. They never did. I continued to call, to no avail.
Meanwhile, my family of four was living out of a mini-fridge (for months now) that I'd purchased to get us by (another expense!). Eventually, my husband called from a different phone number and they answered and got very angry with him and basically told him we were lying and out of luck. He was not pleased. I tried to call them back many more times, but still no answer. I finally left a message threatening to take them to court and still got no response. I was stuck, with no record of my phone calls or messages, no written correspondences and no proof of anything. So, we finally gave up and called Sears repair service. They came the next day, replaced the thermostat in about 10 minutes, for $60, and the fridge has worked like a dream ever since.
I absolutely do NOT recommend this business!!

I am not a picky person, but I would not recommend them. They were so bad that I had to turn them into the better business bureau. They did a terrible job. They did a very poor quality job.
