We were great tenants. And a letter of reference from one of their agents states this. The first agent we worked with for 2 years only came to check the home once. She said it was "so nice" that she would never have to do inspections. The second agent we worked with is the one that wrote the letter of reference for us. She also said that we were great tenants, and in the letter wrote "Each time I visited the residence, it was immaculately clean..." We were never late on any rent & only had to call for a repair once. The problem came when it was time for us to move. The agent which wrote the letter for us said we could spot paint where we filled in tiny nail holes. We spent our own money matching paint at Lowe's and spot painting. The house was scrubbed down and ready. But when the third (new) agent and the owner of the real estate agency, Jewel, Minzes, came to do the walk through, they said that we would be charged for a cleaning service to come in and vacuum out window seals. The new agent said the house was "very" clean. We have waited over a month now for our $1,250 deposit, so I called today.. And we were told we would only receive $300. Due to the fact that they had to repaint the downstairs since the spot paint did not match the old faded paint on the walls. (The house was not freshly painted when we moved in & there were markes on the walls...) But since we did not get it in writing that we could spot paint, they are using OUR deposit to pay for it. I would NEVER use this company. They are soddily run, and will make their money anyway they can. We were excellent renters and have it in writing. But guess they'd rather cheat us and use our deposit money since we moved than rather to make the owner pay for upkeep on a rental....VERY poorly run company.
