Put in a $400 water heater with new snake pipes...but for the $800 price you think he would clean up after the old heater. Large chunks of rusted metal left on the floor. No attempt to clean before he set in new water heater. With water and soap, rust EAsily came up but VERY difficult for me to clean completely behind the heater. Call Lowes and have them install it. Avoid this get rich quick plumber.

iWe called Gene because all of our pipes were frozen.  He came out and looked at the problem and advised that he needed to order some parts.  He said he would return the following day to replace the frozen pipes.  The next day he returned and fixed the frozen pipes.  He did an exceptional job at a very reasonable price.  He was very professional, punctual and understanding.  We will definitely use him for ALL future plumbing needs.

Great. After all was done, a pressure valve popped and he had to go get more parts and do it all over. Very prompt.

I have used Genes Plumbing many times over the past 15 years and he has proven to be trustworthy. He has fixed many plumbing issues for me but my most recent problem was a non flushing toilet. He replaced the "guts" of the toilet (the stuff inside the tank) and cleaned out some debris on of the flush holes in the front of the toilet bowl and it works great! Better than it ever has. It only took him about a half hour so I was pleased. He has also replace a kitchen sink, installed a garbage disposal, fixed a broken pipe and many other things over the years. He is the first and only person I call when I need a plumber.

Came out the first day and gave us an estimate and made an appointment for the next day. Showed up and time and ready to go. Was very professional and did what was required of him. Very personable and offered advice on other questions asked of him.

He was available the next day and arrived within 20 minutes of his scheduled time. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our shower controls, went and got the part. Realized it was the wrong size part, and then got the correct one. He replaced the faulty cartridge, and discovered the other cartridge was faulty as well. He replaced that one quickely. His price waas fair and the shower works great. No drips. The whole job took about 2 hours, but that was partially becuase of needing to make a second parts run.

I've known Gene for eight or nine years personally. He's a great plumber and we have been very satisfied with his services. He comes out right away if we ever need him; he's awesome.

I had Gene install a new (his best) tankless water heater and water softener. After about two weeks of waiting for him to show up to do the install, he arrived and installed the appliances (I wasted 16 hours of vacation time because he didn't show up on the date originally agreed upon). That night while taking a shower, the temperature fluctuated for hot to cold several times. I called Gene the next day and he stated that that would happen for five to six weeks will the lime buildup in the pipes softened and dissipated. The temperature fluctuation continued daily and after two months I again called Gene, he came by and looked at the unit and said he would have to contact the manufacturer. I waited a month or so and again called Gene who said the manufacturer was making a determination as to what to do. After another two months I again called Gene who said the manufacturer was sending him a new unit and that when he got it, he would let me know and come replace the first unit. Another two months went by and nothing. I again called Gene and received no answer, but left a message. He did not return my call. I called Gene about every other day for two weeks and left messages, he has still not returned any of my calls. January 2010 I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I am awaiting results from this. I would not recommend Gene’s Plumbing to anyone!
