I had used Dave Killian when I first moved to St. Charles about 5 years ago. He did a good job so I decided to use him again. He seemed like an honest, down to earth, guy. He also stated, PROUDLY, he was a Hall of Famer too. His boys, and Dave, arrived early and took down the 2 cedars quickly. The Maple tree was huge, and sat on a utility easement, between my neighbors. This was a full day event. At 5:00 P.M. they were finishing up. However, they had never cut up the large maple pieces into 16 " long pieces for my wood stove. When I went outside, I asked, when they would be back to cut up the maple. Dave started back peddling stating they didn't do that. He stated in the contract he would cut it up into 16" long pieces for my wood stove. This was a big issue with me. I stated, from the start, I wanted it cut into fire wood. I figured the job was bigger than he thought. I even stated I would give them a couple of hundred dollars extra to get it done. I wrote the check and Dave said he would call. This was on a Thursday. I called on Saturday and never heard a word back from them. It's now July and he has never met his contractual obligation. This is at least the 3rd time I have had a contractor that didn't follow through. I will not recommend him to a soul since he gave me his word which means nothing.
As for him being a Hall of Famer he is. Amateur Sports Dartball hall of fame.

They do a good job. They come out once a year for me. They do not raise the prices on me. I pay the same price every year.

THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE.
