Bill did a great job. Showed up every day on time and pointed out things about the situation I needed to know. Would recommend him again if I needed more painting.

Contracted Bill for transforming my residence for selling this summer, and he hit all the marks which entailed restoring many interior bruises within the residence. We purchased a house last summer (july 2010) with the intent of remodeling it prior to move-in. The house needed extensive updating and Bill (Quality First Painting) was a great resource through the entire process. He came out twice to give us 2 different quotes based on what work we did ourselves and what work he took on. We chose to do some of the work ourselves and Bill worked with us to define the scope of what we would do and what he would do. We removed the wallpaper and the popcorn ceilings prior to Bill starting on the painting. We hadn't removed popcorn before so Bill gave us some hints and let us know what would be optimal for him being able to start the painting. Many of the walls needed some sheetrock repair and the ceilings all needed sanding prior to even being able to start painting. With all the trim (crown and chair rail in most rooms) there was extensive edging to do and I'm pretty picky, but Bill did a great job and there was hardly anywhere that I noticed anything to be touched up. This part of the job took several weeks to do the entire house, but this was not an issue since we had discussed timing prior to starting the job. This work was done in the October / November timeframe. We actually had a problem with the paint adhering to the trim and doors and it was really messed up when the carpet was installed in December. We called Bill and let him know that something was wrong. It turned out that the paint was probably defective. Some of this actually had to be done after we moved in which made the job more complicated for him. One of the things that impressed us most with Bill was that he came back to strip and redo the problem areas without complaint. I definitely would recommend Quality First Painting to anyone looking for a high-quality paint job and a friendly man to work with.

Bill did a magnificent job painting interior house. Quality was outstanding. There was absolutely no paint seen on any of the stained wood trim after he painted the walls -- it looked perfect. I'm using him again to paint our front entry door. He is very professional, dependable and punctual.
