They fixed the issues. They were punctual and professional. He was a very nice guy, I have hired this business for more than one repair.

They were able to come out relatively quickly and assessed the situation. He had to do in a little research to find and parts that we needed, so he went back, did the research, and called me back with the information. He placed the order for the parts, but it took a while to come in. As soon as the parts came in, he came back, put them in, and everything worked fine. Then we had an additional with the cooktop as it was old and had to call them back. They were very honest with their opinion at that point because instead of coming back out to do an additional repair that would have cost us a couple of hundred Dollars, he advised us to replace the cooktop rather than spending additional money on it without any guarantee of it not breaking again within a few months.

Although in the end my appliance was repaired, the fact that it took nearly a month to do so was unacceptable. I was continually told that one part was on back order and they had no idea when to expect that part to be shipped. I was given this story every time i called to inquire about the status. Several times I was to receive a return phone call to update me, but I never received one call back. I simply could not understand why it took so long to get this part for a standard appliance. This is their business is to service all major brands. I mean we weren't trying to order a part for the Space Shuttle here. It did finally arrive and appliance was fixed.
I must also mention that when my initial appointment was made, I was given a 5 hour window for the repairman to arrive and he arrived 30 minutes after that window closed. Again, unacceptable to me as a consumer..................

I had a refrigerator that was not cooling properly, and was about to loose some expensive meat in the freezer. I called Mid Rivers Appliance, and Henry (the owner) was able to come out the next day. He quickly diagnose and repaired the problem, and gave me good information about refrigerator repair. I will use them again.

He was very courteous and well groomed. He was nice and did the job quickly too. Also he told me that my fridge was under warranty , so I should call the manufacturer, which showed me that he was honest. I haven't been having any problems with the dryer. I referred him to someone else too.

I called to make an appointment around 5:45 pm Monday. When I described the problem, they said they could come to the house the next morning. Tuesday morning the appointment time was 10 am. I received a call from the service man around 9:50 stating that he would be a little late. He arrived at 10:30 and apologized for his delay. He listened to my description of the problem, then pulled the back off the dryer and found that the heating element was dead. He had another element with him. He replaced my broken one, cleaned up his mess, ran the dryer to show me that it worked, and was out the door by 11 am. He showed me where the element was broken. He let me know that the new element had a 1 year warranty. He even pet my dog! I will use this company for any and all future appliance needs.

Everything went very well. An appt was scheduled for a few days away at a time that would work for us. The repairman was on time and extremely pleasant and courteous. He quickly took the dryer apart and replaced the belt. He was done so quickly my husband joked with him "what took you so long". They do not charge for travel time and so the $65 we paid was very reasonably. The service was excellent. We will call them for any future appliance repairs.

Our dryer wouldn't put out any heat, so we joined Angie's List to find a reputable service company. I contacted Mid Rivers Appliance around noon on Tuesday 10/13. They took the information on my dryer and said they could come by on Wednesday. A few hours later, they contacted my wife and were able to come over on Tuesday. After looking over the dryer, he determined the heating element was bad and said he had brought one along in the truck. He quickly replaced the heating element and we were back to drying our laundry. My wife greatly appreciated the responsiveness in Mid Rivers Appliance and is looking forward to using them again in the future in the event of any other appliance breakdowns.

I had been having difficulties with the ice maker on my freezer. It would make ice, but not dispense it. There was a plate in the back that had come off and been re-secured by me several times. When Henry came he found that behind that plate the ice maker motor had become unplugged. He plugged it in, re-secured the plate and didn't make me feel silly. Yeah, I guess to plug in a motor $50 sounds expensive, but he did have to make the service call and I am glad he didn't charge me anything over that in a column marked "silly customer".

THEIR SERVICE WAS GREAT. I CALLED ABOUT 9:30AM AND THEY ARRIVED AT 2:00PM. VERY QUICK TO FIND THE PROBLEM AND GET IT FIXED. ALL THEY CHARGE IS FOR THE PART AND THE LABOR, NO "SERVICE TRIP CHARGE" JUST FOR SHOWING UP. VERY REASONABLE PRICING. NICE REPAIR MAN.

Fine. Repairman arrived on time, explained the future cost if switch did not repair problem, tested burner. Burner now heats although it still cycles on and off more quickly than do other burners on stove.

The experience was one of the best we've had with an appliance repairman. He called ahead, was on time, and was very friendly. He gave us some helpful hints about both the refrigerator compressor and our dishwasher that we were also having problems with. And we couldn't believe how little he charged us. What a great deal!

Henry very graciously worked us into his schedule very quickly (next day). He scheduled us for the PM and called before arriving to confirm directions. Upon arrival, he assessed the problem then fixed it quickly and efficiently. We are very impressed with the work done and the price charged. Service call charge was waived upon completion of repair work. A quick and relatively inexpensive repair, WELL worth it. WE HAVE ICE! I will definitely call Mid Rivers Appliance for future repairs.

BOTH TIMES THE SERVICE TECH CAME THE SAME DAY I CALLED FOR SERVICE. HE WAS CLEAN AND TIDY. HE GAVE ME A QUOTE BEFORE DOING THE REPAIR WORK, SO NO SURPRISES. HE WAS FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.
