I have had this company out 6 times to repair my Samsung refrigerator and each time they claim to have fixed the issue, it still does not cool. Samsung refuses to send another company due to the warranty. This company continues to fail at diagnosing the issue and will not mark the unit as unrepairable because all they want to do is keep getting easy money from Samsung. Avoid at all costs. My fridge has been unusable for 7 weeks and all I get is “I really do apologize” and it doesn’t help when I’m living out of a mini fridge.

I have to deal with this company simply because there is no other choice to service my Fisher Pykel fridge. First, I had to call the manufacturer and they were nice enough to cover their initial visit and send them the parts for repair free of charge. Then their tech shows up three weeks later, spends 2.5 hours replacing the harness (half an hour was spent to call manufacturer to confirm that the new color of the harness is okay...). So the harness was replaced, but the problem still remains. I got charged $150, nothing was fixed and they claim that when the tech came back to verify everything was working. If only I press harder on the water dispenser. Very unpleasant experience. I will probably get a different fridge if it breaks again so I do not have to deal with Mid America "service"

Our refrigerator quit cooling so we called Mid America Appliance Service. Our technician, Bobby, was outstanding. He thoroughly assessed the unit and identified the necessary repairs. He was very honest in that he suggested we purchase a new refrigerator since the cost of repairing the 8-year old unit would be approx. $900. Bobby also called my spouse at work to explain the situation and the recommendation to avoid repairing the unit. He was very knowledgeable and service-oriented. I hope if we need future service we can request Bobby.

Inconsiderate, Unprofessional, and Incompetent Inconsiderate - Mid America Service, a certified Miele installer, made and appointment to install my Miele dishwasher between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. At approximately 11:00 AM, the installer hadn't arrived nor had I been contacted by Mid America Service. Concerned, I called the local office to ask if the installer would still be able to install the dishwasher during the scheduled time frame. The answer was "no". I was told that the installer would arrive to install the dishwasher "around 1:30 or 2:00" -- 1.5 to 2 hours after the scheduled appointment. I was also told that a manager would call me back -- no manager called. Thanks to Mid America, my entire morning was wasted and I had to reschedule my afternoon commitments. Unprofessional - Once the installer finally arrived, he proceeded to behave in an incredibly unprofessional manner. During the install, he bragged about how he was the best installer in town and, as if that wasn’t odd enough, he then proceeded to disparage other installation companies and individuals by name (he went so far as to accuse another installer of sexually harassing a client). Seriously? This from a guy who shows up 1.5 hours late? This from a guy who neglects to install the dishwasher properly (see Incompetent below)? Incompetent - As the installer was leaving, I noticed that he was taking with him what appeared to be a thick piece of felt insulation that came with the dishwasher. Curious, I asked him what it was. He told me that it was extra packaging material. It seemed odd to me that this particular piece of packaging material would be different from the other packaging material in which the dishwasher arrived (felt vs. styrofoam). So, after he left, I looked at the installation instructions -- the felt piece he took with him was supposed to be installed as sound dampening insulation. I called the installer to ask about this; he never returned my call. So now, I have a really expensive dishwasher that wasn’t installed properly. To put it mildly, Mid America Service is inconsiderate, unprofessional, and incompetent. I do not recommend them.

They are not inexpensive and they do fine. I was a little disappointed that they had to charge me so much just to tell me that there was nothing that could be done, but maybe that's the way it works. They make their invoices so peculiar. They put a charge on for ordering labor and they put a charge on for what they actually charged me. In both cases, they didn't actually do any work. They gave prices for doing work and what they did was they charged for giving estimates for what it would take to do the repairs. I have to have them come out to assess the situation. I may use them again because nobody else really does it well as they do.

When our technician Adam came out to diagnose the problem you were having with the burners, he discovered the following: Found that the right rear and right front burners caps was not in the correct position and the left front burner regulator does not adjust the flame much and the igniter is not properly functioning, need to replaced qty. 1, left front burner regulator, and qty. 1 left front burner igniter. You paid Adam a service call and diagnostic charge after he drove to your home, diagnosed the burner problem, and gave you the repair estimate. The balance due, had you chosen to repair the burner would have been parts, sales tax on the parts, and the labor to install them. We understand that it's not always economical to repair an appliance, however we do our best to make it affordable for all of our clients. I am sorry that your found our invoices confusing to read and hope that you will contact any member of my dispatch team to help you understand any future invoices. (We do use professionally built software designed just for the appliance repair industry.) I hope that you will give us another chance to earn a review of all A's from you. I see from my records that our technician Justin came to your home on Saturday, Dec. 19th, to diagnose your washing machine because you were having trouble with the door. On Thursday, Dec. 31st, Justin returned with a new door seal/gasket/boot and installed it on the door and tested the rest of the washing machines functions. I am very sorry if Justin arrived late or not within the time frame you were promised. Techs were professional and friendly.  They repaired the oven door hinge and reconnected the door.  It went very quickly and they showed me how they were fixing it, so that I might do it myself if there's a next time.

The parts they replaced only performed for 7 months...warranty did not cover.  Wish we had purchased a new Microwave instead of spending $124 plus the $49 Diagnostic "Angie's Deal" (total of $173 = the approximate cost of new Microwave).

Mid America Service preformed a repair on it for you in December 2013 because it was turning itself on when the door was opened. Our technician replaced two door switches and corrected the problem. I have a note that you called on September 22nd, 2014 to let us know the microwave was doing the same thing again. Mid America's customer service rep. offered you a discount to send a technician out again to find out what the problem is with the microwave. Please understand that we are not the manufacture of the microwave and are not responsible for their manufacturing quality. Samsung provides a 90 day warranty on their replacement parts and Mid America mirrors that for labor and in-home service call. Again, I am very sorry that your microwave is not working properly, however if you would like to have the unit serviced again we will be happy to provide a discount."

I had loose change on the dryer by the vent clean out. When I was cleaning the vent out a quarter fell in and I could not get it out. I took off the back of the dryer and did not feel comfortable taking it apart any more. Looked for a deal on Angie's List to have someone take a look. 
They were prompt in getting an appointment. Tech was on time. It took him minutes to get the quarter out and everything put back together.
My problem was I thought the $55 repair service call would have covered this. Nothing was broken or needed to be replaced. I was charged an additional $109. So $55 to just show up and $109 for 10 min. of work. 
So keep small stuff off the top of your dryer. 
I will probably look on line for a DIY fix in the future (you tube) before calling any appliance repair.
