 + 0 moreThe installation of the kitchen went smoothly and quickly. The only delays were expected while waiting for tile arrival and installation. He was very easy to contact and returned calls and messages immediately. In addition, his attention to detail was second to none. I would highly recommend Alan Kill Construction.
Description of Work: Install kitchen cabinets, install under cabinet lighting, and install new oven/stove.

 + -1 moreEverything went great! I told him the work I needed done and he came out within a day or two and got started. When I purchased the wrong parts for my lighting fixture, he went out and found the correct one for me. He went above and beyond to make things easy for me.
Description of Work: We were putting our house on the market and needed a few things repaired prior to doing so. Alan did some caulking, repaired a light and several other small projects around the house. He did a great job. Very polite and trustworthy. We will definitely use him in the future at our new home!

 + -1 moreOur back door was completely in shambles. The frame and the bottom of the door had wet-rot and the door wouldn't stay locked or, sometimes, even shut. Mr. Kill came out and gave us an estimate and e chose him to do the job. He came a couple of weeks later and replaced both the door and frame. He did a wonderful job. It looks great and works perfectly.
Description of Work: new back door/frame.

 + -1 moreAfter we contracted with him it took 8 weeks to get back to my husband. He then made an excuse that the note had slipped under the drawer. He was suppose to come out and look at a spot in our garage that might have needed some work. He never did return the calls. I wouldn't even give them the time of day anymore. He does not have a big company. We had seen him next door at the neighbor's house doing some measuring. We asked him to come to our house afterwards to give us an estimate. He told us that he could do this and that, but then never got back to us. I would not recommend him. His responsiveness was non-existent. He did have a business card. He might do the most wonderful work in the world, but I wouldn't know. He could have gotten back to me and told me that he didn't do that small of a job.
Description of Work: Alan Kill Construction came over and said he could do this and that, but we never heard from him again.

 + 0 moreCompleted everything we asked, thought through several items and improved upon my ideas, and was very thorough. Cleaned up after himself, returned everything to its' original location, etc. Highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Alan was referred to me by a neighbor that I trust and my experience with him is excellent. In fact, I've got more work for him and asking him to find time to come out again. He's busy and he may take a few days / weeks to get to you, but it is worth the wait. His work is very high quality, completed with craftsmanship and pride. I had him complete many things when he came out: electric work including replacing 2 switches, adding new electric service to the garage; plumbing work including removing an older toilet and replacing it with a new one; installing cabinetry in the garage; installing shelving in the garage; and running a cable line from the basement to the upstairs bedroom (among other items). He was very diligent, very thorough, and very detailed in this work, which required 1.5+ days to complete.
