Sliding Door Installation
Had a sliding glass door installed last year; 3 months after the install , an outdoor threshold piece started separating; asked Craig to fix this a few month later as I had other priorities to attend to before that time with the house; no communication after he came out and piece wasn't fixed; Death in family so had to postpone calling him--after difficult time contacting him, he came out, refused to fix it, saying it the piece was "original to the house"; at the minimum , at original install, he should have said the piece was original and might not work but let him know if it didn't; or last week offer to pay percentage of repair. He was rude, has poor business practices clearly; also showed up late (said he would be there between 8:30-9; showed up at 9:30- I had rearranged my work schedule and I was on time. Would absolutely recommend not using him

Good quick service but very poor communication on the time they would be there. asked for a call 30 minutes ahead of time so I could leave work and meet the technician. No call, they had the incorrect number and I tried reaching out to the main number twice with no contact back. If you use them make sure you just block off the entire day for installation

"We scheduled to go out to Brian's house on 9-6 between 10 and 12. On the date of install Brian texted me and told me that his wife would be there until 12:45 and he asked how long the install would take. I told him that was perfect and I told him install is approximately 30 minutes. Our service tech tried calling to let him know we were on the way and accidentally dialed the wrong area code. Payment was supposed to be made at time of completion and that didn't happen. Brian was trying to get Money deducted off of the bill because he said he had to leave work to meet because he didn't hear back from us within a hour after he texted. The techn"

Craig and Mark are incredible, super nice and professional. The prices and the communication could not have went any better, and I am glad our realtor highly recommended this company. They were in and out and did a great job, they left everything as they found it and always made me feel comfortable, they were out at my house twice to fix all of our windows that had broken seals- I will definitely use them in the future.

I was so pleased with the work that I used him to repair three windows in the house I sold as part of the remedy for my sold home inspection. I hired this company a some time ago to replace some windows. Initially I was happy, until I noticed a crack in the full length of one of the windows about a week after the installation. I called the company thinking they would surely stand behind their work. BUT NO! They stood behind their flimsy warranty, pasted here: **A Pane In The Glass, LLC. Does not provide a Warranty on Glass for Scratches, Chips, Breaking or with any other glass defect after five (5) days from installation. All glass defects must be submitted in writing within the (5) day period.** Since I did not notice this crack until after the five-day period, they refused to replace the window. Even though, I later had it confirmed by another contractor that the breakage was likely due to installation / workmanship. Pay very close attention to this warranty... I would recommend you find a local glass company with a solid reputation that has been in business for a while, there are several.

"Hi Bill, we still have you scheduled to install your glass! Our installers are scheduled to come out this Monday 1/15/18 to install your glass if weather permits of course. When we look at the weather Sunday early evening, we will determine immediately and notify you if the weather is going to be good to us on Monday or not. As for the "never showed up" Myself and the owner are not aware what happened and went wrong to have our employee not showing up. We apologize for lack of communication and you not receiving a phone call, we are looking into it. Our routine is to always call our customers when our installers/laborers are on their way or if they are not able to make it to your home; we've been doing call aheads (the day of)for years!! Thank you for your Business!!"
