Stief’s was listed here on Angi, and I requested a quote after the weekend. They came out first thing on Monday morning, sent me a quote that I could not refuse and completed the project while they were onsite.... Perfect!

The crew with the owner arrived on schedule. The work was lined out to trim 4 trees and remove a smaller partially dead Japanese Maple. Within 3 hours trimming was done, yard was raked, and all debris removed. I am very very pleased with their work and professionalism. I will hire them again for the next trimming project.

Stiefs wood products did a great job removing my storm damaged tree. They worked quickly left the work area clean.

The whole experience was pleasant from the start until the finish. The owner came out and assessed the job ahead of time. They showed up on time had plenty of manpower on the job. I had trees that needed to be trimmed in both the front yard and the backyard and side yard so they had guys working in the front and guys working in the back and got it done very fast. And they cleaned up very well and to my satisfaction. I thought their price was very reasonable and I would definitely hire them again.

They were prompt and reasonably priced. However, they did not move house plants and threw large branches down on my plants. They allowed large branches to hit the roof; dont know if shingles were damaged and put a dent in my gutters. Also dragged heavy limbs across my driveway,leaving deep scratches in the concrete. Left equipment in the yard after completion. So a bit sloppy and rushed.

One of our birch trees blew over in a storm last night and landed on our garage roof and side yard. While it was still storming, I contacted Home Advisors and got the Steif company name and made an online contact. They called me back within 5 minutes and arrived this morning around 7:30 to review the job. Their estimate was reasonable so we accepted and they started their crew on the job. It was done quickly and efficiently and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves. The staff were pleasant and worked hard to remove the multiple trunks. We will hire them for future tree work.
