We had a great experience. Bid process was comfortable and competent and competitive. Everyone showed up on time. They were friendly, fast and clean. Highly recommend these fellas!

It was over 100 degrees and our air conditioner was not working. I called the office and someone was at our home within an hour. Life savers! Very professional and nice in the office and the service person, Jack! He explained everything that was going on, what needed to be replaced and didn't, and said to contact him if any more problems. Couldn't give them enough praise!

Every step of the process from bid to install was great. Everyone I worked with was nice and their estimate was much better than other companies I had bid the work. I recommend this company.

The experience has gone very well. They do a furnace check up in the spring. They are very friendly, kind. and explained things to you. They are very good, and accommodating, and I don't mind having the men in my house. I have had a couple of the same men who have been coming for a few years. The price has been pretty good.

Prompt service for inspection and estimate.  Work scheduled within a week.  Contractor arrived on time.  Performed work in a professional manner.  Cleaned area of all debris when done.  Courteous and professional at all times and friendly.  Would definitely recommend.

Upon discovering multiple leaks in the lines inside the house, the gas company shut off the gas until repars could be completed. While they normally could do the repair they could not get a serviceperson out until the following week. I called Zipf Air and although they couldn't give me an exact time they promised to be there that day and as soon as possible. Zipf Air arrived about an hour later and worked most of the day to get the work done. They were very thorough and made absolutely sure the problems were resolved before the gas company came back to reinspect and turn the gas back on. I have nothing but praise for their emergency service as well as scheduled service!

The serviceman came on time as usual. He was very thorough on his inspection and cleaning. He brought the filters I ordered when I made the appointment. All my questions were answered. We have had Zipf Air do all our HVAC maintenance for years. They replaced our old air conditioner, water heater and furnace when needed and have always responded quickly to emergency calls. They are a very professional company.

This company was very proactive from the very beginning.  In contrast, most other vendors (several bids) didn't seem to care if they got the job or not.  In my case, the owner himself came on site to work out the contract with me.

The workmanship was first class all the way around.  The sheet metal work, the caulking, the wiring, and the duct work (insulated) were all done professionally to a degree that I would say sets the example for others to follow.  I've not seen better work anywhere, and this company uses highly-trained workers that seemed like veterans of the industry.  No illegals or fly-by-night employees here...not even close.

The work was inspected by the city of Creve Coeur and found to be perfect with exception of a few minor details that were immediately corrected to the city's satisfaction.  The inspector complimented the work and said it's rare to see things so nicely done.  This gave me peace of mind.

This company really worked with me to make sure I was happy, and they were very flexible and responsive.  Ironically, a carpenter working on my house said he knows John Zipf (owner) and considers them to be the best contractor he knows of; I found this out after the work was done...more peace of mind.

The only negative I can think of is that the duct-work seemed quite expensive, but I'm sure you get what you pay for in that department 99% of the time.  These guys knew what they were doing, and all joints were properly/nicely sealed.I have not needed any service, as the units have been performing perfectly.

Overall: Extrememly professional. 1. The bid process was very thorough: Here's what you need, here are your options, here's why we recommend one option over another' here's what it will cost; and most importantly: here are the rebates you qualify for. 2. The installation took two days and was very smoothly done and propfessional. They told me how long it would take, and it took an hour less. The workers took great care to avoid damaging walls and floors as they removed the old equipment and carried in the new. 3. They took care to ensure I knew how to run the system before they left, including maintenance.

Great experience! Very helpful, prompt and straight forward. Technician also gave me lots of answers on unrelated questions for future update I am planning for the future.

They were very good at their work and were able to give some good advice on the heating & A/c unit. They replaced the entire unit and gave me a water heater for free. They showed up on time and finished the work in timely manner which was very helpful. They did a great job and I have had no problem since then.

They try to accommodate my schedule and when I could have them out to my place. The serviceman was very knowledgeable. They are easy to communicate with and they have been on time for their appointments.

My experience with them was fine. They were very fair in dealing with replacing the previous furnace and air conditioner. It wasn't still under warranty but they made accommodations to see that I was satisfied with their service.

They where very friendly when they where there working for me. They where very professional about the job. They had showed up on time to do the work.
