WOODEN ELEPHANT FURNITURE REFINISHING

There was a small amount of sloppiness on the finish on at least one chair, but I never called it to their attention, so that's my fault.  I would use Wooden Elephant again.  In fact, I am planning to take some more chairs there to be stripped of their finish so I can paint them.

He is an extremely honest guy. He is does excellent work and I would recommend him to others.

It went very well. Chris was friendly and helpful when I brought in a chair for an estimate. I didn't get any other estimates, so I don't know how prices compare. My grandmother's 5 hard-backed chairs were wobbly and the folks at Wooden Elephant glued them up and had them ready in the two weeks time frame just like they said for $55 a piece. I redid the upholstered seats myself and Chris gave some advice on how to use webbing.

They did a good job. No problems with their work.

They were helpful on the phone and offered an estimate based on the size of the area being caned. They did a decent job with the caning and matched the stain well. Don't expect quick turnaround. It took about a month. Also, though they are in a convenient location on Olive just East of 170. They are a bit hard to find as they are in a strip mall behind other buildings.

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL ON THE PHONE AND PROVIDED A VERY REASONABLE QUOTE OF $60-$100 FOR REFINISHING THE DRAWER. THEY COULD NOT GIVE A BETTER QUOTE WITHOUT ACTUALLY SEEING THE DRAWER. I WAS PLANNING TO USE THEM, BUT THEN WE DECIDED WE DID NOT WANT TO RISK REFINISHING ONE DRAWER ONLY TO FIND THAT IT AGED SO DIFFERENTLY THAT WE WOULD NEED TO REFINISH THE ENTIRE DRESSER. INSTEAD, WE WILL TRY TO COVER UP THE SMALL FLAW THAT IS THERE.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND WORKMANSHIP. VERY PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH AND VERY PROMPT. PRICES BETTER THAN MOST.
