The team removed the old asbestos duct and tape from my basement while I was at work. Everything was cleaned up and taken care of. They did end up removing a metal duct that wasn't part of the original agreement which made the replacement job more expensive with the HVAC company hired, but all in all a good experience and I would use them again.

Bill was professional, polite and knowledgeable. We are planning on doing some renovation in our home and before we began demolition we wanted a professional to identify asbestos risk. Bill pointed out some additional areas to test. Results were given in a written document in one day.

Bill arrived on time and was very personable and professional. Got his samples and told us he would let us know what type of mold it was within 48 hours. Less than 48 hours later, he had our answer. Now we will find a company to remove our non-harmful cladosporium. We won't need haz-mat suited people to correct our problem. Ducts will be cleaned and vent covers replaced. Had bio-hazardous mold been found it would have required a very different solution. Because of his scientific knowledge, Bill recognized the type of mold we had quickly and saved us a lot of money on testing because all he had to do was confirm his original diagnosis.

Rep that sampled floor was very professional. Arrived on time and process only took a few minutes. Had results in days.

The company removed asbestos floor from kitchen and bathroom. They came in and gave me an estimate and performed the work. Obtaining the estimate and invoice was not convenient as both had to be requested multiple times. The only other problem I had was that I had to sign a proposal stating what they said they would do and the price before they would schedule the job. I don't feel that they did everything that the proposal stated, such as the negative air or HEPA vacuumed. I was also told that we would receive paperwork at the completion of the job stating it was removed to certain guidelines and then we would receive a final packet a few months later. We never received any documents at the completion of the project.

Wellington set up the appointment within 2 days of our call.  The asbestos inspector, Patrick, was punctual, had good depth of experience, and was a pleasure with which to work.  Right away, he stated that, based on visual observation, it was unlikely that asbestos was in the plaster.  However, out of an abundance of caution, he took a sample and sent it for laboratory testing.  We received the test results within 5 days, and the results were negative.  I would not hesitate to use Wellington Environmental again.

I think they did a good job in the end.  It was little bit of a hassle getting my final paperwork from them.  I think they came out some time late Spring early Summer I believe off the top of my head.  I think the cost was under $2000, I would say anywhere between 12 hundred dollars and 2 thousand dollars but I think it was on the lower end like 12 to 15 hundred dollars maybe.  I would give them a B, maybe a low A.  They did a good job once they were here, it was just, you know, there were little things like uncertainties during the process, you know, the guy wasn't wearing a Hazmat suit and so me not knowing much of anything and expecting the worst like the fibers went everywhere and they, you know, it was just a little bit like I went into it thinking I was going to get a really good like professional company and then I was left a little underwhelmed when they were done.  I had to call like every month to check to try to get, you know, I think at the end, say they give you like this final paperwork cleanup summary and I felt like I had to keep hassling them for it and, you know, was getting the runaround and then finally they sent it to me.  I think it was like a good three to four months later but they did warn me that it was going to take a little bit of time but, you know, I just expected that they forgot about me, you know, so I don't know, I don't know really.  I would say like a B, I would probably use them again but now I know a little bit more of what I'm getting.  I mean they were really good initially when I called them to inquire, they came out that day, you know, everything that they gave me contract wise seemed pretty legit then like I said, after they were done it was kind of like well, you know, you still have to uphold your end of the contract, you know, I was suppose to be given, you know, such and such information, I didn't receive it and then I felt like when I inquired about it, it was kind of like oh um, you get that later, like really.  Before using them I felt like, you know, grade A and then after using them it was a little underwhelming in the end, you know,  and then when I kept calling to inquire it's like, you know, you just felt like you were bothering them, you know, not very professional.  I would probably say they were pretty good with their pricing, I mean I looked at stuff on Angie's List, you know, prior to calling them and I think they were pretty equivalent to what other people were getting quoted, you know, so I didn't feel like it was astronomical, you know, it was right around what I ball park figure I had assumed, so I would say an A.  Quality it where I get a little like apprehensive because, you know, prior to using them, you know, when they first came over and they give me a bid, they sent me a contract, it seemed very professional, I was actually really impressed with everything and then a little bit after, immediately after I felt like I had a little bit of buyers remorse, like, you know, like I said the guy, they did manage to tape off main entrances and stuff but like, you know, the guy wasn't wearing any kind of like protective respirator type stuff so I felt a little bit nervous because I'm like if he doesn't worry about fibers flying around is he going to care that I worry about fibers flying around and so then I had to do, like I just remember, and then I was suppose to receive like air quality tests and the guy didn't provide me with any of that so I was a little nervous during the process and after that it was kind of like unprofessional clean up and so I even had to call the company and inquire and explain everything and then, you know, they were just like oh yeah it's fine and so I was just like how do you know, you know and so yeah maybe they are the perfect little find but you know for somebody who isn't really experienced in that department and when you hear asbestos you're thinking oh my gosh I need hazmat suits, you know, evacuation, so you know, I don't know, maybe it was me being a little bit of a hypochondriac but I just felt like they took it very laxidatical in doing it, which made me nervous.  With responsiveness I had to keep calling them, you know, I felt like, yeah, that could almost be like that could have been closer to a C.   I think they were an A with punctuality because, you know, they showed up right away when I was receiving the bid, you know, they showed up on there day, on time, and got the job done, you know, in a timely manner.  I think I would use them in the future it's just I know a little bit more of what to expect.

I called Wellington Environmental and explained to them how concerned I was about Vermiculite Insullation that had fallen into my spare bedroom because of a collapsed ceiling. The representative was very helpful an scheduled an appointment for a sample to be collected within a day of me calling. Pat came out to collect a sample from my room. He explained the process to me and let me know that I would have the results by Monday(the sample was collected Thursday). I, of course, became impatient and called Wellington before the end of the business day Monday and the representative took my number and promised to have Pat call me with the results if they were in. Within an hour, I received a call from Pat letting me know that the result of the test came back NEGATIVE! He even put up wit me confirming over and over again that he did say that the result was negative and even with me calling him more than once with questions. I know he understood how concerned I was and was very patient and professional the entire time.

Very pleased with the job performed by Cody Boone who removed the mold.  Very professional and courteous.  Bill Hunt was the contact person and he was too was very professional and courteous.  Bill sent me the proposal on the 9th of June and after I accepted, he was able to schedule the job 6 days later.  Can't beat that!

Wellington Environmental was very professional, and did a wonderful job with the remediation.  Would highly recommend.

They were helpful on the phone when we first called about testing. They came out promptly to take the sample and reported the results within a week. Very good to deal with and good service all around.

They showed up during the time agreed upon. The results were somewhat slower coming back from the lab than expected. They returned my email promptly on a day their office was closed so I could have he results for an inspection deadline. Determined the type of material and that there was no asbestos.
