They did the job and we were happy.

The company responded quickly and provided a bid in a timely manner. After I signed the contract, I never heard from them for a while. They didn't respond to my phone calls or email, then I get a phone call at 8pm wanting to schedule the job the next morning! I said no, and had to wait another week for any form of communication. Very unprofessional. Took over 3 weeks to get roof installed after I signed contract, but the lack of communication in that time frame was the most frustrating part of the process. Price was right, work looks good, but I was NOT impressed with the customer service/communication leading up to the installation.

Responded to my initial inquiry in a timely manner and provided bid in a timely manner. Scheduled work within a week after contact was signed. Roof warranty is for 15 years for materials and workmanship. Cleaned up all materials and did work in one day. No leaks since roof was installed.

A great job overall. I am very happy and would recommend this company.

Called for a roof inspection due to water damage. Representative arrived at the appointed time. Inspected roof and provided both repair and replacement option (using different materials) estimates. After deciding on which option I wanted (replacement), they were able to schedule the work very quickly and their workmen were up on my roof even before my deposit check had arrived to their offices. No complaints at all. Would hire them again but I hope I won't given the 15 year warranty on the roofing material used. Recommend them with no hesitation. My only wish is that it would also have been great to finance the roof replacement with them...but that is a very minor point. Happy with their work. This is a good company. Call them.

Completely satisfied with my decision to hire The Flat Roof Company. We recently purchased a flat roof home in the city and noticed some evidence of water damage on a couple of ceilings and walls. The home inspector couldn't tell if those stains were recent or old and suggested I hire someone to determine the integrity of the TPO roof. I interviewed several companies but felt most confident in Anthony's reputation, explanation and professionalism. When he visited, he explained in detail the process of cleaning, probing, and re-welding seams if/where needed. He provided a competitive and very reasonable price for that and for replacing some rotten decking, installing areas of new TPO membrane, adding two TPO boots to pipes that should have but didn't have any, installing edge metal where coping caps didn't exist, cleaning and refastening loose gutters ensuring proper drainage, and making certain our roof is water-tight. And, he provided a five-year, transferable, leak-free guarantee. Couldn't be happier.

I cannot say enough about this company, one of the best experiences I have had with a roofer, or any contractor for that matter.  Communication was excellent, from the time they came out to quote through the installation.  The owner is such a considerate person, and that attitude shines through in his employees.  I went with the white TPO roof, which will last much longer than the other flat roof options.  And I can already tell what a difference the white roof will make on keeping the upstairs cooler, although that is a just a side benefit of a TPO system.  The best part is that there was not any odor that I could detect at all, and I am very sensitive to chemicals.

Thanks so much!  You all have restored my faith in the roofing trade!  Oh, I almost forgot...just to let you know how honest they are, when I went to pay the invoice they pointed out that not as much material was required as originally anticipated, so they deducted this amount from the amount due.

During the deluge of rain on 12/26-28/15, I awoke to find water dripping from my bedroom ceiling.  The roof was only 10 years old, but started leaking five years ago and had been patched several times. I consulted Angie's List and Nextdoor.com and finally chose The Flat Roof Company. My first contact was Jacob, the estimator.   Jacob explained what should have been done on my roof installation 10 years ago and I learned it had not been done correctly.  No wonder it leaked.  He suggested a TPO roof and explained how it would be done and the materials they would use.   Later, I spoke to Anthony, the owner. I am not usually a panicky person, but water streaming in the ceiling just put me over the edge.  Anthony was calm, very patient, and walked me through the entire process.  The workers, led by Jose, came exactly on time and finished the job in one day.  From start to finish, I found everyone to be kind, informative, and very professional.  I am confident I now have a good roof warranted for 20 years. I highly recommend this company.

The workers arrived at about 7:30 a.m.  The only negative in the whole experience is that the foreman did not come to the door and introduce himself or tell me when they were taking a break for lunch, etc. which is what I have come to expect from other construction/repair workers.  They worked very hard, overcoming the unusually difficult task of removing FIVE layers of old roofing.  I'm told that two layers is supposed to be the maximum allowed.  This means that the previous three roofers ignored the law and simply slapped on another roof.  The Flat Roof Company did it the right way.  It was not supposed to rain until 7:00 pm that evening, but there was an unexpected downpour early in the day, they handled the situation without missing a beat and completed the job by evening.  The owner, Anthony Ely, who has several crews out around the St. Louis area each day stopped by, introduced himself, and personally made sure the job was being done right and to our satisfaction.  Altogether the most professional roofer I have dealt with, and the one I would have the most confidence in doing the job well and correctly.  Anthony was great to work with and it was obvious that he cared a great deal about the work being done diligently and to our satisfaction.  A man of integrity, and reliability for sure, in my experience.  I certainly would use them again if I have the opportunity.

We got their name through someone else. Their work was excellent. They were very efficient. They took photographs and showed us. They brought materials down to show us what had been removed. They were very responsible people.  We talked with 4 companies and felt that their price was one of the best, not the best. They warrantied it for 10 years.  It was good. They replaced tiles. It is hard to tell with a roof but it seemed like their work was good. No more leaks, for at least the time being. We feel that they did a good job. They came exactly when they said they would. They left exactly when they said they would.  They just delivered exactly what they said they would do.

Anthony and his guys acted quick to get the job done. Very responsive. Very professional. Good warranty.
