+ -1 moreSOMEONE CAME OUT THE DAY AFTER I CALLED AND LEFT ME A WRITTEN REPORT. IT STATED THAT THEY WEREN'T CERTIFIED TO REMOVE THE DEADWOOD AROUND THE POWER LINES, BUT HE GAVE ME THE NAMES OF 3 OTHER COMPANIES THAT WERE CERTIFIED. HE ALSO LET ME KNOW THAT THE TREE I HAD IN THE YARD THAT I THOUGHT MAY NEED TO BE PRUNED, DIDN'T REQUIRE PRUNING FOR POSSIBLY ANOTHER 2-3 YEARS. HE STATED THEY COULD DO THE WORK IF I CHOSE FOR THEM TO, BUT IT REALLY WASN'T NECESSARY FOR THE HEALTH OF THE TREE. THIS REALLY SAVED ME SOME MONEY! WHEN IT COMES TIME TO PRUNE THE TREE, I WILL DEFINITELY BE CALLING DAVEY TREE SERVICE TO DO THE WORK.

+ -1 moreTHE ONLY THING THEY GOT RIGHT WAS MULCHING MY FOUR TREE RINGS AND EVEN THEN I HAD TO ASK THEM TO COME BACK TO REDO ONE OF THEM. I ASKED FOR AREAS OF DIRT WITHOUT GRASS TO BE GRADED AND SEEDED, THEY THREW SEED ON THE AREA WITHOUT GRADING. THE AREAS STILL HAVE LUMPS OR BIG CREVICES WITH PATCHES OF GRASS. THE SERVICE I THOUGHT THEY DID CORRECTLY WAS OVER SEED, HOWEVER, I JUST TALKED WITH ANOTHER COMPANY YESTERDAY ABOUT LAWN MAINTENANCE AND WHAT I THOUGHT WAS CRABGRASS GROWING ALL OVER MY FRONT YARD IS ACTUALLY ORCHARD GRASS, A CHEAP TYPE OF SEED MANY COMPANIES USE. IT WILL BE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET RID OF NOW. THEY NEVER GOT ANY OF THE TASKS DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. THE DAVEY TREE EXPERT COMPANY IS JUST WHAT THEY CALL THEMSELVES, A TREE COMPANY, NOT LAWN. ALTHOUGH, I HAVEN'T USED THEIR TREE SERVICE, SO I CAN'T COMMENT ON IT.
