They have done spraying in the past. There was one guy that did the estimate and the guys that came out did exactly what the estimator said they would. They lowered the limbs by rope rather than letting them drop. I didn?t like that they backed up their truck on my driveway to get the chipper close to the trees but when they left there was a pool of oil on my driveway. I didn?t call them to have them come back and mop it up or anything.

They are reliable contractors for yard care.

Excellent experience. Nice to talk with someone on a Sunday morning after the terrible storm on Sat evening. Got bid and work done within hours. Very fast, very professional. Definitely use them again.

The were great. I could not believe they came out as fast as they did; but I was very relieved since the large branch was blocking part of the road and it was too heavy for me to move. The trimming they did was excellent and they were very professional.

Came promptly for the estimate. Estimate was received promptly. Work was completed as quickly as one might expect given the amount of rain we've had. Everyone was polite, courteous, knowledge. Everything was cleaned up nicely when they were done.

He was fine. He did it very quickly, roughly within three hours. Communication went well.

I thought it worked out OK at the time but the tree is dying anyway, so I will need to have it removed.

I was not here when it was done and was very happy with their prices. They do leave a note stating they were here for the services. The bill is mailed out to me from a central office.

We paid $250 for that work. The guy came out right away to give me a price and my mother has actually used them for years. They were really professional and took care of it and also took away an extra branch for me that was fallen in the yard. I have had other tree companies do just as good a job and their prices were less expensive, so their prices are a little high.

After service was performed, we had to call back over minor issue. Davey responded promptly and addressed all of our concerns. We will definitely call them again if needed. Note they performed "tree work" for us in 2008. That job was also very professional and good quality.

It went well. They arrived on time and provided the estimate quickly.

I love this company. The price seems reasonable and I already have it arranged for them to come back in the spring to spray and fertilize for me again.

Their work was great except I had gotten an estimate six or eight weeks ago and I was just about to give up on them and hire somebody else when they came out of the blue and showed up. Everything was good except for the timeliness. Their communication was not so great. The price was really low and their quality was good. I actually had to have them do something different than what they had quoted me and they were absolutely fine with that and he was really nice about it.

They were good and did the right thing. They knew what they were doing and didn?t damage anything. We were surprised at how low the price was.

They did the work in less then 30 minutes. They were efficient and the price was great and they were very courteous.

Called for an estimate. The drove out to look at the tree and responded by phone within a couple of days. They arrived as scheduled to remove the tree, and they did a good job cleaning up after the work. No loose branches, no real damage to the lawn. A second crew arrived to grind the stump a week or so later. They were also neat. As I recall, they didn't make an advance appointment to grind the stump, but they did fine. We eventually received two separate bills for the removal and the grinding. Their total, however, was correct.

Karl Dreyer provided a written estimate and then took time to answer my questions based on the work included in the bid. The crew was out within a week and the work was done.

Davey's was quick on the initial repsonse, met with us personally and had great follow-up, plus was less expensive than the competitor. Our home, in the back where the trees are, is basically 2 stories of windows. Since there was no street access they had to climb the tree to take it down. The control they were able to maintain using something of a pulley system was amazing. Believe me, when a tree overhangs a wall of windows, control is a big deal. They also trimmed some dead branches off another tree. The clean up was great. The workers polite. We were so impressed with the job they did we hired them to take down a dead tree we have at another house we own. I cannot praise them enough.

I called for an estimate and they came and gave me an estimate on the spot. The rep, Tom Beshoar, noted the trees had some weakness and damage and suggested the cabling. He gave me a reasonable estimate and I was able to schedule them the next week. The two men that did the work were courteous and friendly and did a good job of trimming, etc. and cleaning up afterward.

I have been using The Davey Tree Expert for 10 years. It was unbelieveable how they treated my lawn. They are concerned about what they are doing. I trust them. You are assigned a guy who looks after you. They know what needs to be done, and how to do it. They are very good! They do the best tree trim job I have ever seen. Their prices are good!

Via phone we asked for an estimate and they came by while we were gone, checked out the work and left a detailed estimate on the door, including a sketch so we were sure we were talking about the same trees. We called to schedule the work and were able to get in quickly. While the guys were working I asked them about another tree that had a lot of deadwood. They were able to offer their opinion and do the work the same day. Because the health of the tree was uncertain, a manager came back on another day to offer advice -- at no extra charge. On the day they did the work they cleaned up after themselves and after they left, except that the trees looked better, you'd never know they were there.

The company's representatives were responsive when we called. They called back and said that they were in the area and would give us a reduced price for the work if we had the tree removal done that day. Another subcontractor came back in a few days to grind up the stumps. We were very satisfied with the service performed.

It took a while for them to actually come to the house. After a storm, a pretty large limb fell across our front sidewalk onto another tree. We were worried that it would injure a pedestrian. It took almost a week after we called for them to come, but they said they had trees on houses, which would certainly be a priority. After they came and did the estimate, they said they would come the following day (a Friday) to cut the tree overhanging the sidewalk, and would come at a later date to do all the other work. They didn't show up on Friday, but on Monday, they did the entire job. They did a fantastic job overall. They left a too tall stump on the removed tree, but when I called, they came back and cut it to the size I requested. Otherwise, the work was excellent. They cleaned up so well they they left the porch much cleaner than it was when they arrived. The trees they trimmed look really good. So, despite the hiccups, I would definitely use this company again.

The process went well. The representative arrived punctually for the estimate appointment, even though it was pouring rain. He was very good-humored about walking the property, even though the rain continued. The estimate he prepared was in line with expectations. I was very impressed with his assessment of a beautiful but now lightning-damaged pin oak, because it showed knowledge of symptoms of the damage. Davey sent a crew out within the agreed-upon time frame. The overgrowth removal was very effective, and a separate project was deep-feeding the tree. To date the tree has nearly a full canopy for the season and has survived the 60-MPH winds of a recent storm. One small negative is that I had asked Davey to send the invoice to a different address than the street address, but it was mailed to the street address. I had to call to have that corrected.

It went very well. I called them from Angie's list. I called to get some other bids as well. I picked Davey. They said they would come out to give me an estimate. They came out and did it when they said they would. I called them and they answered questions. They didn't charge me any more than what they estimated. The work they did was very good. Our properties looks great now.
