First we have an oddly shaped corner lot, second, I put in various plots of gardens in my front yard area, which required a lot of planning. Jim hit the mark as far as coverage of all my odd areas.
Then he installed for turf irrigation in my back yard area, being sure to water some small garden areas I had put in.
The Hunter Pro-c controller is as easy as setting a clock and has enough programmability that during summer months I can expand my programs if I wish.
Jim drew by hand a map of heads and connections also including trees and bushes growing in each area.
Cannot say enough about the responsiveness of the front office and the dedication of Jim and the crew getting the job done during difficult weather.
The biggest issue we had with them is we have an uneven hill in our back yard, and they wound up killing patches of grass on the hill, and leaving nice large areas of dirt. A push-mower should have been used, but based on how the yard looks now, it is clear one was not used. When we asked them to fix this, they just put a sprinkler in our yard for a few days - no seeding, no fertilizing, nothing, so then we just had a large patch of mud.
In addition, by pre-paying, we needed to make sure that they actually mowed when they said they did. There were times they left an invoice saying that they had mowed, but it looked as if they had not.
By the end of the summer, we were happy we did not have to deal with them anymore, but now we are left with large patches of dirt which we have to pay to have fixed through reseeding, fertilizing, and more.
"I appreciate the review. We did respond to the concerns of the the dirt patches on the lawn right away, If the mowers had been doing damage to the hill why was it not until Oct 16, 2015 that you notified us of the issue. We determined that the issue was lack of water and not our mowers. In Sept of 2015 we only had 3.11 inches of rainfall. In regards to the pre-pay, we have never left a note for mowing only for our Fertilization and Weed Control Program explaining specific watering instructions with each application. Those instructions were not being followed. When our tech did a site visit the lawn was bone dry. We stand behind our services and would have offered re-seeding, fertilization if it was determined that we were at fault."
I scheduled an appointment for estimate.. company came out gave me a good quote, set a date for removal, showed up on set date and removed stump. Good price, punctual good communication. Much appreciated.
Monthly flower bed weeding, etc. has been great too.
Office staff is easy to work with and very well organized.
